Lexusgs430: Lol@ the bolded. You never know....🙂 The recent changes to the citizenship rules mainly apply to those who enter irregularly/without a valid visa- via boat or truck for example. I'm guessing the OP's friend entered with a visa which he subsequently overstayed before deciding to claim asylum. I agree though that he doesn't have a route to regularise his status (in the short or medium term) that doesn't involve leaving the UK. Youkay don cast - it's true that the asylum ,and human rights route in general, will be made much more difficult going forward. The Telegraph has seen to this with their raft of human rights related immigration exposés over the last couple of weeks. Even the loophole that some Palestinian families were going to use to apply for humanitarian protection in the UK has been exposed and is to be closed. It's all part of their plan. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Hello good people, Which exams best explain skilled worker visa knowledge of English language requirements? |

Lexusgs430: The full reading of the judgement reveals that a family of six had sought permission to live with a British relative who was able to financially them - and part of their case had been that they were political opponents of Hamas, which is banned in the UK under terrorism laws. Their initial application had been incorrectly made using a form reserved to help Ukrainian families reunite - but they eventually won permission to stay from a judge under entirely separate general human rights considerations that allow families to reunite, particularly where they are at risk of harm. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgp47mpxgno 2 Likes |

People I need help. I am scheduled to take my practical driving test on 7th March. My instructor all of a sudden told me he won't be available and i should reschedule. I am determined to go ahead on that day. Can I get someone who can accompany me with his car. I'm willing to pay. Location is livingston, Edinburgh Scotland.

IELTS General would suffice. As with centre, they should be a centre in Liverpool. I would suggest you use google to search for this.

Find those driving schools that rent out cars for test. Just use Google and you should be able to find. It would be difficult finding someone’s to allow you use their car.

immobilare: In addition to what AgentXxx said, you can hire from Arnold Clark. They have cars with dual pedals just like the driving school cars do. Just go with someone with a full license (you're not supposed to drive unaccompanied with only your temporary driving licence, after all) All the best. 3 Likes |

I really appreciate your suggestions. I have been able to get a quote from an arnold Clark close to me. What's left is to get someone who has a license that will accompany me. This town and its wahala!!

AgentXxx: Thanks for the response. I already did extensive search via gov.uk before asking but just wanted 2nd, 3rd opinions on someone who's done it b4 to be sure. 👍 |
jedisco(m): 5:21pm On Feb 19 |
FreakyNasty642: Just to add, if something is stated clearly on the gov.uk site, then that's the dependable version. Asking multiple people would mean everyone adding their personal nuance which results in confusion. 3 Likes |

immobilare:if you are in the fb community near you. Just make a juicy offer for someone who’s got at least 3 years license. I offered 25 per hour on my test day when “A Nigerian sent me text 1 hour to my test time that he won’t be able to make it that morning” that’s after I’ve paid. I just makes the post on the Facebook page and I got different people 😁. I had to select. 1 Like |

@Lexus, you didn't give us the tea on the protest going on outside the Home Office lol, calling on the Home Office to investigate CoS scammers who have allegedly scammed people of up to tens of thousands of pounds. They even have a banner with the faces of some of the "scammers" 2 Likes 1 Share |

Zahra29: This is terrible, I like the fact they are being named and shamed (hoping no one is falsely accused) but these folks have ruined lots of families. I understand the risk involved for those who are already on the visa attached to their agencies but for how long will these folks get away with this nonsense. These are the people making a bad case for immigration, law abiding and hardworking immigrants! 1 Like |

Hello Seniors, I'm in a bit of dilemma, I have been working with one of the NHS Trust as an ant for a year now under my graduate visa. Recently, I requested for a tier 2 visa from my department Director with the deadline that if I don't get it, I will be leaving the Trust. Though I still have one year left in my graduate visa but just need to switch quickly. But due to the salary threshold of 38,700 and 30,960 for new entrant which I'm eligible for, I requested I be moved from band 5 to band 6 so I can match the pay. Due to funding issue within the NHS, my Boss couldn't take me up the band, and In other for me not to leave, my Boss made s with both HR and the Trust immigration team responsible for visa and to my surprise, they said my salary of 29kas a Finance Officer can go for a tier 2 visa being that I work in Healthcare. Truth is, I'm very sceptical about that but the Trust keep assuring me that it will fly with home office. Today, I have received my COS but I'm scared of spending money to apply and losing the money if my application gets rejected. Has anyone working in NHS in an occupation other than clinical recently gotten a visa as a band 5? What do you guys think about this? 1 Like |

Nelsmannnnnnnnn: You better go and apply and stop wasting time. For as long as your job title matches your job description, then you’re good to go. I think you will still pay for ihs which you can reclaim after six months since you work for the nhs. You should be celebrating 🙌, congratulations! 2 Likes |

Hi Guys, Please, I need your insight on this issue. A friend in the UK applied for a work visa under the Health and Care category but never received an approval or denial email. However, his wife, who applied as a dependent, received a denial email. Despite multiple phone calls and emails to the Home Office to understand why the main applicant never received any response, there has still been no . Meanwhile, the applicant’s legal status has now expired, and they don’t know what to do. NB We can confirm that the Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) is not the issue. The COS as also since expired as it’s been over 4 months |

Sabiman92: Has he checked his spam box? Or test to generate a share code to see if he has a valid evisa? Was he perhaps sent an email to request for more details or documents he didn’t respond to? So many questions? The denial for the wife may be related to her not qualified for a dependent visa under the current rules. My thoughts |
