Congratulations man. Can we please discuss offline if you don't mind? My WhatsApp number is +2347058559550. I'm highly considering applying for a skilled worker (health and care) visa in the near future and so would need some guidance/tips on how to successfully navigate the process of applying for a skilled worker (health and care visa) in order to immigrate. Good morning everyone. I'm currently debating between using Qatar Airways to London via Doha and Turkish Airlines to London via Istanbul. I know they're both good airlines, but can anyone who has used both recommend the better option especially for layovers in Qatar or Turkey? Turkish Airlines is the more affordable option, but I'm also prioritizing excellent customer service, hospitality and safety. Thank you

Thank you. I agree Qatar Airways is very good, but I'm inclined to give Turkish Airlines a try since I've never used them before and since they appear to be quite affordable. I also noticed a significant price difference between the two airlines. Turkish Airlines is about 1.2m Naira for a round-trip (not bad), while Qatar is about 1.8 to 1.9m Naira for a round-trip after choosing seats, hence I'll be saving good money by using Turkish Airlines. Hopefully, they won't disappoint me. Arry110: |

Why not check Airpeace it's a direct flight and no layover b31164707: |
b31164707: 12:25pm On Feb 15 |
Yeah I'm aware. Air Peace is about 1.2m Naira, but I'm still reluctant to fly with them. A work colleague who recently flew with them complained about their inflight entertainment system not working, though food was good. Air Peace also has a negative reputation for delays, so I'd rather not bother to be honest. Gd0007: |

Why is my appointment showing standard assisted even though I ed documents myself?
|
b31164707: 8:49pm On Feb 15 |
Yes, you can include it as other source of income. A mutual fund in this case would be classified as an investment on the application form. kentdealer: |

Wow, wow, wow! I'm so sorry to hear this. Did they lose your bag on the Lagos to Istanbul route? After hearing about this unfortunate incident, I'm not going to bother flying with Turkish anymore. Can't risk having an airline lose my bag in 2025. My choice is between Qatar Airways and Air Peace now. Arry110: |

Personally I always strive to use National Carriers when I’m visiting a country, except they don’t have. I would always advise anyone traveling to also use Qatar Airways, they serve good jollof rice from Lagos route to Doha, I’ve not used them to London but when someone I knew went to London with Qatar, they flew 787 Dream Liner from Lagos which is super comfortable and the fly AirBus A380 (the king of the skies) aircraft from Doha to London, this plane don’t come to Nigeria because of our airport structures, only Ethiopia and South Africa this special plane can fly into, and he said it was just the best flight. So if you can’t afford British Airways, then take Qatar. Turkish Airline from Lagos has bad food and they use an old AirBus A330 or so. If you don’t use BA or Qatar Airways then certainly go for AirPeace. 5 Likes |

I have helped my sister and her family to the documents to the VFS website. Do they still need to take documents with them on the day of their appointment? |
b31164707: 2:57pm On Feb 16 |
No, they don't need to take any documents, since everything has been ed on the VFS website. However, they must bring the document checklist and appointment confirmation letter. Ajalalomo: |

Dirpetaner: The appointment type on the appointment letter is showing Standard (Assisted), even though I have ed all the necessary documents. Does this mean they are going to pay for assisted even though we have ed the documents ourselves? |
b31164707: 6:05pm On Feb 16 |
Why did you a fake work reference letter? If I were you, I wouldn't risk getting a 10-year ban for ing a fake document. Why don't you just get a brief letter from your employer that proves you're an employee? Dirpetaner: |

Jolene474: Please where are you guys seeing Qatar and Turkish Airlines for these prices? I checked yesterday and I was seeing something above what was mentioned here and Turkish Airline was fully booked. Kindly let me know where you are checking for the prices, thank you |
b31164707: 8:07pm On Feb 16 |
I'm checking on the websites of these airlines, but the price will ultimately depend on when you want to travel to be honest. When are you planning to travel? I'm seeing these prices for a travel date in the week of March 17th. Note that there usually isn't high demand for air travel in March compared to during the summer season (June to August) and Christmas season (December), so I guess that's why. xaves: 1 Like |
