Confirmedzombie:The foundation of Fubara's position is cracked and gone. A party cannot abrogate and reprobate in the same breath. Having withdrawn his challenge to Amae---- and the Suit in that respect DISMISSED it is seriously doubtful that he can maintain any other Suit against the House position. Well, let's see how the SC goes🧐. 1 Like |

Confirmedzombie: Make I help them. Maybe English too hard: -> Gov. Sim Fubara no lose case! E legal team withdraw di appeal because di matter don . -> Dem follow Supreme Court Rules 2024 wey talk say if matter don lose relevance, e fit withdraw. -> E no mean say Fubara accept anything! Na just say di case no dey necessary again. -> No believe fake news! No let people like Lere Olayinka deceive una. -> Fubara still dey in charge and e dey move Rivers State forward. -> Make we focus on beta governance instead of unnecessary talk. 3 Likes |

Confirmedzombie: Whay exactly is the real judgment and verdict of the SC? Because I'm hearing over the radio that Gov. Fubara withdrew the case from the SC? |
bixton(m): 1:25pm On Feb 10 |
tope777: A case that has lost relevance can be withdrawn and you say the governor is in charge even when he was fined? .Trouble looms but many think it's a child's play. |

tope777: I just came to understand that the case is about budget representation. This is not a case and not what many of us are waiting for. |
bixton(m): 3:02pm On Feb 10 |
tope777: If the case at the SC was about the budget then that is not what many of us are looking out for. That is but the real case. |

tishbite43:Why can't he wait for judge to rule on it? So you mean the judgement that fine him now does not mean anything? |
tishbite43: 5:37pm On Feb 10 |
Desyno:Once you withdraw a suit, you pay a stipulated fine You don't know this |
leokid866: 7:20pm On Feb 10 |
tishbite43:it's not just about the budget.....by this proclamation it means the Supreme Court recognizes the other faction.....sure fubara can decide to do nothing.....but the Supreme Court recognition of the other faction does not bode well for him and his future......especially with a different court case contesting their footing if that goes the same way as this Fubara will not survive till 2027.....especially if he plans to run for reelection.....God helps him if he looses cause those house of reps will immediately set efcc on him and he and the other 3 on his side will have to come forward to for every kobo plus 2024, 2025 and any other year he refuses to present before the 27 .....last last na Abuja go help am cause it's like it's yet clearing in his eyes that he is playing with his future...... |

leokid866: 7:41pm On Feb 10 |
tope777:lol and you believe the matter will die there.....no worry the year just dey start.... |
Desyno: 7:46pm On Feb 10 |
tishbite43:And the withdrawal means the judgement of appeal court and federal high stand, right? Those judgement were not about budget alone. |
bixton(m): 6:13am On Feb 11 |
tope777: Please can you help but tell me what Femi Falana said on Channels TV? |

leokid866: The issue of the governor withdrawing the case since it has to do with budget, I think he is riding on the path of technicality to have come forward to do that. All the reasons they will give is also technically correct as it's in line with stipulated laws. But it will interest you to know that even if the Appeal at the SC had gone in favour of the 27 legislators, Fubara won't still represent the budget, because there's still no Court that has pronounced them still lawmakers. I also think the SC who is supposed to come up with that issue is deliberately delaying it's sitting and judgment. They all know their reasons. The plan from what I see is to wait till towards the end of the tenure of the Fubara, give a judgement that will make the SG pay them all their entitlements while they all go back and make themselves available for re-election and battle it out. That is the plan they have alone for now to avoid impeachment of the governor. That is the plan to avoid unrest in the State. |
