35 pieces of 555w s? 😱😱😱😱😱
Choi.
Why you using it on only 1 cc of 120a?
120a means the highest it'll use to charge the two batteries is about 6.5kwh.
With 35 of those s, at peak you could produce 19kwh. What happens to the rest not used?
You should've got 2 mppts and you will have enough juice to pump into both batteries.

I have a system with 2pcs of 180w connected in parallel, pwm controller. Before now, I do get 12A & above during peak period but during the raining time it drop drastically. Now, during the harmattan season, I experienced a drop in the current but voltage is high. I am posting this message around past 6 and voltage still as high as 17v but current is 0. In the morning around past 9, current is 4a and above but in the afternoon around past 3 when I checked the current stood at 3.6a & above
Pls could it be that one of the is faulty or the heat is making it difficult for the to generate enough current? The system is just 2yrs+
Note: There's a gap between the and roof because I use rail
Thanks
Battery type?
Voc of each ?
brand? Used?
Note too dat at 6pm nothing is useful for a 12v system. Probably ur 17v is d pv/watt page of ur cc and not volt/current.
Heat definitely affect output too. Irradiance is the most important. You can also troubleshoot each .

Please house, what are the top 5 solar brands in Nigeria right now?
if possible add their costs.
please i need these informations for research purposes.
Thanks guys.
Goto fouani website and type jinko in the search, it will show you all jinko wattages they have with prices, u can easy buy and have it delivered to your doorstep. This is d easiest and cheapest option of getting an authentic brand new top tier .
Others like Canadian, era, JA and co, if you are not careful u might buy sticker or used . Unless you buy from authorized seller like techlandsolar etc

The heat this time of the year caused a significant drop in solar yield. Always to factor in the temperature coefficient when purchasing your solar s so as to have a realistic yield estimate when you factor in the different temperatures we experience throughout the year.
10.2kw sms dual mppt
10.28kw s (12x440w Jinko and 10x500w cworth)
18kwh cworth lifepo4 batteries ( 2x100ah and 1x150ah)
Solar Assistant on Raspberry pi5
Victron smart shunt 300a
Junktek shunt/battery monitor 100a
Achieved 100 percent off-grid status in January.
Take not, load does not factor in the 100wh consumed by the inverter itself (72kwh in 30days)
Peak continuous solar yield this month was 6,500kw i.e 63percent max yield
Peak cumulative load this month was 5.2kw
Max yield - 34.1kwh on Jan 20th
Lowest yield - 12.5kwh on Jan 19th
Max load - 24.3kwh on Jan 27th
Lowest load - 9.8kwh on Jan 19th
Max solar yield in 7days - 205kwh between Jan 17th - 23rd

Something a lot of folks miss when trying to go the renewable energy route is using energy efficient appliances. Converting all appliances to energy efficient ones is as important as getting s and installing batteries. As you can see, most of my appliances are energy efficient.
Energy management is also an important factor, I make use of smart switches which are automated to turn appliances on and off for different set durations.
My biggest energy consuming appliances for the month of January:
1. Lg 1.5hp inverter air conditioner 184kwh
2. Lg 1hp inverter air conditioner 84kwh
3. Starlink and own router 59kwh
4. Double door fridge 52.3kwh
5. Chest deep freezer 34.63kwh
6. Heat-pump clothes dryer 27kwh
Hello guys… I got an SMS Gold 15kwh lithium battery in mid December and it’s connected to a 10kwh sms hybrid inverter with 20 550w solar s. I have been using the system without any issues for a month plus until last week when I noticed that it does not charge beyond the 5th bar (the battery had 6 bars). About 5 days ago, it charges up to 85% before it stops charging, 2 days ago it charged up to 82 before stopping, yesterday it stopped charging at 77% despite the fact there was still peak sunlight around 1.30pm. I observed that once the battery gets to the 5th bar, the PV immediately drops to like 200w from like 3500w just like it does when the battery is already fully charged. What could be the cause of this? Are the battery cells being damaged or what? Please I need help with this. It’s been frustrating for me because there’s been peak sunlight where I am and my battery will just stop charging around 1pm.

Chief it's time I clear this up cos I've had enough of you misleading people, what you're selling is just a step down transformer. Yours is a 5000w step down transformer.
You're literally just stepping down 220v to 110v.
That cooker is going to take forever to cook a meal on your so called energy saver, even that pressing iron is going to take hours to heat up.
You're literally just stepping their voltages down to 110v.
It's just simple maths. When you lower their voltages × their amps hour = lower watts.
Picture below is a 1000w step down transformer.
I'm looking for something like this. Where do I get this from please

What's your battery voltage when it stops charging ?
Finally got sms 60a mppt charge controller and everything is now smooth, duo this one doesn't show watts coming in it show only (A). So far so good b4 10am my battery don hit 13v ND above. Na now I install solar i swear
12PCS of iCellPower 220A Tubular Batteries up for sale.
Batteries were used for less than 6months. lives abroad and sent money to his Installer to setup Inverter and Solar for him.
According to his installer, this didn't need any maintenance but regular acid or distilled water top-up.
came home last xmas and said he wanted a system that didn't require any form of maintenance except from wiping off dusts thus the reason for selling them off.

Most guys come here to lay complains and whenever different solutions were given, they no longer come here to update the house if the solution(s) worked out or not. Why?
Are you using an inverter, prepaid meter or Generator and you want to save your energy consumption by as much as 25% - 50%? then this 5000w energy saving appliance is for someone like you.
This energy saving appliance will reduce your power consumption on your pumping machine, big ox fan, hot plate, induction cooker, pressing iron and other power hungry appliances. This energy Saving appliance could make your inverter or Generator power some power hungry appliances it couldn't power before now.
Capacity - 5000w
Price - 90k
