I farm Garden eggs both in the dry season and raining season. During the dry season, I use irrigation process to water my Garden Egg farm. To achieve this, I need a pumping machine, fuel, workmen. All these affect the price of the Garden eggs before it gets to the market. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueXifbWW2WE 10 Likes |

There's this kinda joy you get when eating what you planted......I felt it the first time I planted maize and pepper. After harvest I waybilled some to my mum and also gave my neighbours, I felt like a king that day. 53 Likes 6 Shares |

In my entire community in Imo State there is no borehole, we depend on a distance running stream to get water. The last person that tried to get water have spent over N10m and yet no water. At this stage now it will be very hard to get person who can afford to try again because of the high risk or chance of failing and losing the money. During drying season, people struggle to get water, water it like a rare earth material. Maybe na Libyans go understand wetin I dey yarn because I hear say for there say fresh dey costly fuel(PMS) This is supposed to be the duty of the government, ie if we get. We bought 1k gallon of water for N25k around late December, after so much management, it got finished at mid January. Less than 3 weeks a big GeePee thank of water N25k finished. Something 2 litters of fuel or even NEPA light will help us do of we had borehole. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

At 1K per litre of fuel. How many litres did you consume for the farming season. Am sure you will make a loss when you minus cost of Petrol from sales of Garden eggs |

Natbrowny: You go eat belle full. I will also give you some to take home. My Garden eggs are big and it tastes sweet. Some have almost zero bitter taste. When you visit people in the farm, you will freely eat what they are farming. Provided you go there when they are in the farm. The same thing with palm wine tappers. When you visit them in the farm, you will drink till you are drunk. Nlfpmod 1 Like |

thisisit: No loss Bro. I use about 4 litres of fuel the day I go to water my Garden Egg farm. I do this like ones in between 5 to 6 days. I harvest ones every two weeks from the first harvest. This continues till it can no longer produce Garden eggs 2 Likes |
