Vitafoam insider buying at N32. Same person who bought at the end of Q1. I think it’s a sign they’re still making good money.

With the allotment of shares of banks that did capital raising recently one would expect the share prices of the banks to slow down.

Unless NGX juju is activated.

the name of the forum is NIGERIAN STOCK EXCHANGE MARKET PICK ALERTS.

and Not NASD.

I supposed the difference is clear.

You can start a thread for NASD

NASD is also a NIGERIAN STOCK EXCHANGE because they are regulated by same SEC.
Except if the group is meant for NGX quoted stocks only.
I stand to be corrected though.

NGX used to be NSE (NIGERIAN STOCK EXCHANGE) when this thread was started. smiley

Good everyone, I am trying to take a look again into the Nigerian stocks as a millenial, after many years of pausing, what tools or platforms are people using in 2025 ? for analysis, buying and also reconciling your old brokers and CSCS s.

`Thank you,

Emmanuel

But some premier league level teams are there o! Like Mobil (11Plc), Access Bank, Friesland and Campina (Wamco), Nipco oil and gas and Dufil Prima Foods, etc.
For instance, Okitipupa oil Plc has done over 850% there in a space of 1yr and few months so if the insights are being shared here too many of the group would have benefitted from the price rally.

I don't think there's any difference. It should be same process via your stock broker because it is still CSCS that handle their operations too.
In fact CSCS is also quoted there.

The quantity of Okitipupa I bidded for has not been fully filled for over a year now although it's my brokers helping me buy in available prices

Don't worry about chams.
Her case is already settled.
The market will be back and it will be lifted up coupled with the news about to happen in the group.

While I have invested in chams and waiting for market to do its justice, there is one small stock I want to start picking.I will not speak about it now until I have a unit of it to make the campaign sweeter

Oga Loco
I dey your back.

Ellah sef no soji. They should've gone there first then move to the stock exchange. See what aradel did and what okitipupa will soon do

I think the scarcity is expected because according to reliable information only 115.32 million shares were listed and that perhaps should be what is largely contributing to the price rally.
Meanwhile, their financials are not bad at all, I think they made 2billion revenue in 2023 out of which 1billion was declared as PBT that's 50%, very massive.
These oil businesses are replicating same kind of result everywhere. Is there any reason to believe that Ellah Lakes will be a different case scenario.
Professionals like Oga Emma, Emmaodet, Streetinvestor, Ymcy(if I didn't spell the moniker wrongly), Locotrader etc please what's your advice concerning the future of Ellah Lakes so that we the newbies will know wether we can park our bus there before it is too late?

I am surprised nobody makes mention of stocks that are on NASD on this forum, is it largely because there are just few companies there for now?

Someone created a thread for it, though it is not so active.

Not really a new information but FYI for Aradel owners. The PE firm is still selling down their stake. They're the ones that won't let it go higher
Im not sure why they're doing it on the open market like this but I guess they are yet to find a buyer for the huge quantity

I believe you don't own any Oando shares. Because I don't think any minority shareholders who know the potential capital gain in Oando shares in the next year or two will ask for cash, or any other option, at this time.

I am saying distribute some shares and monetize the rest to boost balance sheet and profitability.

Abeg don't take this as a personal attack, but your Chams investment thesis keeps evolving. It has gone from "operational improvements" with big numbers coming in the quarter to a new deal the company is about to sign, and now to some unspecified sector-wide news.

I'm pointing it out not to embarrass you but to show generally how people who say they're "investing" are actually doing something more like gambling. Even gamblers get lucky, but many often lose more than they gain.

Investing should be driven by evidence-informed conviction. Presco is an excellent example, and I urge those who want to invest with conviction to watch the CFO's presentation, linked below, that someone suggested earlier. People who had the foresight to catch Presco years ago could've predicted where the stock would be today based on the oil palm production life cycle.

According to Wale, Oando has 1 billion barrels of crude oil underground.

My prayer for Oando and it's upstream mates is for crude oil to remain above $70 a barrel, with all the disruptions around the world, including Trump's policies at home and abroad.

Conoco P - $1.5b
NAOC - $0.7b

Even assuming there has been no debt reduction since Conoco P, what is $2b debt to an entity sitting on $70b, less production costs. ?

I may be missing something seriously.

The huge finance costs on the debt is depressing profits and contributing to loss making.
Poor or inadequate profits would make it difficult for the company to attract more investors and also affect the share price.
The crude oil in the ground stills requires funds (cashflow) for it to be pumped and sold to generate revenue, otherwise it would remain dormant. So it is advisable they reduce the debt and related finance costs in order to improve profit margins.

I love the ion of Locotrader.
However, I don't flow with his brazen estimations.

This same CHAMS was projected to close at FB on several occasions but fell short hardly gaining 2%.
The current projection is N15 in 2025... smiley
