Sunrisepebble: I have a palm plantation. I can tell from the report that a major booster of the revenue in 2024 was the absence of FFB sales. FFB - Fresh Fruit Bunch was sold in 2023 but in 2024, all the harvested FFB were refined. It is more lucrative to refine your FFB as you get two major by products in O and PKO which are international commodities. As long as they keep producing and expanding the farms, you can be sure of continuous increased revenue apart from occasional price increases. When you then factor in the fact that they have now found a way to access the global palm oil market (valued at $72 billion and projected to grow to around $121 billion in 2034), through the Ghana acquisition, greater market share is bound to be captured in forex. 14 Likes 2 Shares |
