As far as I know, when I and my wife arrived at the UK border control last August, my port was stamped while hers wasn't stamped. Our situation was different, she has a BRP, while I was on a visitor's visa. She went back to the officer to ask and she was told that it wasn't necessary for her cos of e-visa.

Good afternoon guys, please I got a message on my CAS shield yesterday that my CAS is used and the sender says it’s an indication that a decision has been made but after I made a call through to ukvi, it still says my application is being considered and awaiting decision. This wait is really cr*zy. I did escalation and I was told to wait for 15 working days which would complete by next week. Just worries

Has the enrollment deadline from your school elapsed. I am facing same thing here . In my case the enrolment deadline just elapsed today 31Jan2025.chool says they cant extend the deadline. Can someone just advice if i should just cancel my Visa application before they make a decision . URGENT Advice needed please from anyone !!!

congratulations!!! Did you get any NSF or any email at all before you started making paid mails/calls?

Yes please, I got an empty NSF at the expiration of the standard 15 working days, after a few days I started sending paid mails which didn’t do much.

I think the paid calls work faster.
I strongly recommend that you pray for speed and favor that no lazy or wicked person sits over your application.

If the deadline for enrollment has elapsed the school will most likely reach out to home office and cancel their CAS and it would affect your application so I’d advise you withdraw your visa application to avoid getting a certain refusal and losing your money too. However, Email the school for advice going forward and confirm if they can extend the deadline for you, if not they’d automatically defer you to September or April/ may batch.

The first paid call was on 7th ( when it completed 15working days first)I got the empty nsf, then last was on 29th I was told that an officer has open my page

CAS stands for Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies. It's a reference number that you need to apply for a student visa in the UK.
NSF mail from UKVI? NSF (Not Straightforward) mail is a notification from UKVI stating that your application has complexities that prevent a quick decision.
