raumdeuter: My thing is, if you applied this reasoning when your tax paid socialism to the farmers and for too big to fail and Elon Musk, I might not actually mind. But since you don't and only yell when your tax is appropriated to feed children that are not yours, I just can't agree not to tax your money by force if I must. Sorry. 1 Like 1 Share |

basilico: Yet not one policy mentioned. Almost like we were right to recognize it’s just a culture war carefully crafted to be distracting and inflammatory. Christians do in fact say fire and hell stone will fall on unbelievers. If that’s not a threat I don’t know what is. What you mean to say is that minority groups have freedom like you do and that doesn’t sit well with you. You don’t like that you are not allowed to harass people without consequences, So you feel oppressed! Wait wait, are you saying that other races are oppressed because they can’t say the N word? And this is your evidence that democrats have extreme policies? Are you for real? You’re either a child, a doofus or a clown. For this specific comment about the N word never mention my moniker again. This is too slow for me to deal with pls. 3 Likes |

bemeruca: Look at how Vogue describe Melania portrait. https://www.vogue.com/article/melania-trump-official-white-house-portrait-the-apprentice-cosplay Excerpt . The sober black-and-white photograph by Régine Mahaux features Trump, the Washington Monument towering over her shoulder, resting her fingers on a reflective black desk and staring down the camera as if to say, “You’re fired.” Indeed, Trump looked more like she was guest starring on an episode of The Apprentice than assuming the role of first lady of the United States. Trump’s clothing certainly didn’t help the boardroom pastiche. The first lady wore a black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo jacket with satin-trimmed lapels over a white button-up, which she paired with a Ralph Lauren cummerbund and tros. The choice to wear a tuxedo—as opposed to a blazer or blouse—made Trump look more like a freelance magician than a public servant. It’s perhaps unsurprising that a woman who lived in a gold-encrusted penthouse, whose fame is so intertwined with a reality-television empire, would refuse to abandon theatrics—even when faced with 248 years of tradition These degenerates are so full of hate.

Livelystone01: Let me be blunt. I think these posts with you demonstrated what I was talking about. You came here to say that something was extreme but when giving the opportunity to explain why, you couldn't. It was glaringly obvious esp. with your Keystone example. The media has been captured by right wing propaganda to such a degree that people hear the same phrases over and over, internalize them and don't even spend time trying to understand them for themselves. I'm not saying it's your fault, but that is exactly what you just did. That's why Basilico can write pages of pages of nonsensical posts filled with half truths and lies because he really doesn't understand 1/4 of the things he writes because he treats the nonsense he gets from Right Wing propaganda as truth. I don't fall into the trap of the terminology, right, left, center. I don't think being moderate is being in the middle of Liberals and Conservatives. I think you should figure out your morals/values, study each issue and then put your values towards them. The problem for the US and this thread, people are no longer studying the issues, just ranting based on propaganda they heard. And it's usually the Trumpers. You can't spend your time lying about living in the US, or doing a 180 reversal on your position of who you think Trump was and then want to pretend you want to have an intellectually honest conversation. I think your thesis statement is wrong. 1 Like 1 Share |

My heart goes out to all the families on this DC flight. Flown to this area/airport often. Kind of unnerving that this could happen given all the technology we have at our beckon now. We need a top down investigation as to what happened to prevent it from happening again. Unfortunately I don't think this istration is up to the task. But I hope everyone is reminded how necessary the Federal Employees and some of the regulations we have are. It's easy to demonize the Federal govt and what it does until something like this happens and it becomes clear their necessity, the neccessity of competent leadership and what a failure somewhere in that bureaucracy means. 3 Likes 1 Share |

During a press conference addressing the plane collision in D.C., NBC News' Peter Alexander challenged President Trump's claim that DEI initiatives at the FAA began under Biden. The text the President cited was posted in 2013 and remained up during his first term. News 4 Likes 1 Share |

Levels of incompetence and cruelty. Already reversed this HIV order days after putting it out. In any other company whoever put this order out without doing a comprehensive study as to its ramifications would have been fired. This is the same person that people say would have done a better job getting out of Afghanistan. The cognitive dissonance is always a sight to perceive. happney65: The racism that comes out of his mouth... He wants to make it so that every black person in the US will be thought to be unqualified for their jobs despite their years of education and excellence. And what's sad, a lot of Black people in this thread aid him in that. 3 Likes 1 Share |

armyofone: it is backwards corporate thinking save money by purging old hands its a story as old as time - boss with no idea how the system works comes in with vague business school ideas of shaking things up he sees people sitting on their asses doing nothing and getting paid. he cannot understand what they do - and he fires them shortly after the company starts having all sorts of emergencies and incidents and no one know how to solve them it turns out those lazy old hands actually had an understanding of the system and appeared to do nothing because things were going smoothly. but things were going smoothly precisely because of the old hands running things you are going to see a lot more of this across the board. its not a bug - its a feature of trumps golden age. 1 Like |

IjeBos: So many things have improved black people lifestyles wether it is EO or EEO or just applying for jobs or use whatever it is called. Black people didn't get to where they are by chance - they work harder for it. I don't know where and what they are looking at but before claiming EEO/EO, you must have education and experience. 3 Likes 1 Share |

armyofone: God bless our troops. Amen. But they are already preparing to shaft it to the veterans who served the country and dedicated their youth/health to further the American cause. If they are able to get it done without heavy push back, they’re coming for the active troops benefits next. Anything to save a buck for the oligarchs. You’d think a govt like this would understand the benefits of a motivated military. Unless they plan to conscript the boys of poor families to fight for the country, they will have a hard time finding patriotic soldiers to fight in this war they’re inevitable courting by threatening our allies. 1 Like |

IjeBos:Ok, now you singled the keystone issue I didn't address and buttressed on it. I talked about others too. I couldn't address everything, I was tired because I just clocked out from my shift then but I addressed others from my opinion. For the media, you forgot how people were banned for speaking their minds about the COVID-19 issue? Even Mark Zuckerberg recently spoke against his role in that. The legacy media also were speaking in same direction, labelling others who have different opinions about certain issues. While the right wing have their extremism which I condemn, we cannot ignore the fact of how the legacy media and other platforms were pro left to the extent that they can censor and cancel people for having different views. Seems like the Dems are doing some assessments and finding that certain of their policies were off with neutrals which caused the election loss, maybe only their ers haven't actually come to with it. 2 Likes |

raumdeuter:Trump is about to place a tariff on Chinese imports, do you this as his er? If he doesn't weigh in on the impact of this decision, it may boomerang and become a flop. I see this move as reckless but time will tell. Let's see how this will make Americans prosperous. |

cococandy: In all of these I wish to know where is Harris and other potential Democrats that will want to be president in 4 years time. They should be speaking loud and clear now and not only start speaking when it is election time. They need to stand up to Trump and push back on many of his lies and let people know the consequences of some of Trump's rash actions. After the 2020 election, despite the humiliations, the tag of being called bad loser and many battles that followed, Trump was still very vocal and made sure he remained relevant and influential both within his party and outside. I think the silence of many of the top democrats is deafening. 1 Like 1 Share |
