El-rufai is not someone you can trust on security matters. Few days ago, he was misyearning about possibility of military coup because he was sidelined. If he had managed his position we'll as a governor in Kaduna and managed security issue well, there won't be damning report about him. Why is there a relative peace in Southern Kaduna and Kaduna generally after he left office? Tinubu should not consider him, he's not to be trusted. I will keep saying that Tinubu gained nothing from sidelining Elrufai after publicly begging him to work with him, rather he lost a lot of goodwill from young northerners who are solidly with Elrufai. The reason why northerners stood with Tinubu against their own Atiku was because of the concept of "Amana (Trust)" that the likes of Elrufai stoked in their conscience to vote a Southerner. To see Tinubu go against that Amana leaves a bitter taste in the mouth of northerners.
