One of my aunt traveled by land to abroad years back, she told someone in nigeria to do her international port but the person claim he did it but lost it.

So the issue now is, she can't do another new one without the details of the old one according to what she told me.

Is there any way to get the details of her past international port with just her name and picture?

So, asides your port photograph that must meet the requirement. You only need two documents:

1. Birth Certificate issued by the National Population Commission or Declaration of age by Federal/State High Court or Customary Court of Appeal

2. Local Government Certificate of Indigeneship

On the website, click on the privacy information requirements, then scroll down and click and accept all the NPC policy. After accepting all the policy, then click you have read and given your consent at the end of the page and you will be able to make payment for the birth certificate attestation and after payment you will fill the necessary information required then the certificate should be ready almost instantly but know that NIN is required.

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, minister of interior, says all port applications will be processed online by March 1, 2025, as part of a broader digitalisation effort aimed at enhancing efficiency and curbing corruption.

Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Rivers states will be the first to adopt the system.

“In Canada, less is live; By February 1, by the grace of God, Europe is coming on board. And of course, by March 1, four states in Nigeria are also coming live; which is Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and River States,” he said.

Hello, does anyone know what a port holder can do to resolve port not found in the system error from the NIS website when trying to apply for port renewal from abroad?

Please I have been trying to renew my port on the NIS website but after I successfully input my NIN and it gets to the ‘Current port Details’ page, I keep on getting this error message:

‘The port details provided by you are not found in the system. Please correct your entry and try again’

I have tried several times and also doubled checked to be sure the information I provided are correct but to no avail.

Kindly assist please.

Changed location
Gotten white background
Read through the entire instruction and I still don't know what's wrong
Its either there is no proper light which is not true or the image processing request can't be processed at the time
My date of capturing keeps shifting forward
I'm already contemplating if I should just walk into their office and do it
I'm pro DIY but this is becoming frustrating already
I had to change into four different outfits
Just different backgrounds (all white) just in case I miss it,one would probably hit home

You just need to keep trying. Everyone went through this same stage

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That is one of the most frustrating stage in port application,if you that stage,then you are ahead,the only frustrating stage again Is facing the corrupt immigration officers who will want to frustrate you for using the online application. I had my own share of the hassle during application,but ed all,and now I have My port.

My Boss on the order hand,scaled through without issues,though his was with an immigration officer 😔

This part could be frustrating,I don't know about app,but if you can with your ears showing very well,you can use paper for this,to push it out well, enough light and white background,after snapping,send to another WhatsApp to reduce the size,before sending back to you. Once done,you can re it.

Or better still use a good studio and tell them what you need it for,once done and sent to you via WhatsApp,try ing it there to see the various grades if it will work.

snap using daylight , use a white background that is smooth ( don't use a textured wall as a background, let it be smooth)

Finally I've been able to the port hassle but I was told to some documents
I thought people doing renewal didn't need those or did I do something wrong
