Those are the cheapest. Croaker, catfish and other varieties are so expensive. Smallest catfish is 5000 with plenty abeg.

I don't know how much it's sold in Naija but one pack [two mackerels] for me is about $13. I've been buying three packs at a time [just a bit over $40, including tax]. I went to buy more yesterday sef. And oh, Salmon is and remains my all-time favorite fish and is more commonly sold at grocery stores, but I've been enjoying Mackerel lately after finding a grocery store that carries them.

Yes. Would kosua ne meko (ground pepper put into boiled egg) combination occur to you? But try it and see . Kokonte, what you call amala goes WELL with groundnut soup, kelewele (Spiced ripe fried plantains( go well with peanuts, beans goes WELL with gari AND ripe plantain NOT bread or banana , ampesi (boiled yam, or boiled cassava or boiled cocoyam or a combination of any of them goes WELL with kontomire (cocoyam leaf) stew or garden eggs stew. Etc etc, I could go on and on, try these foods and come and give testimony
