I need your advice on this issue. I was told I couldn’t proceed further in the recruitment process because they feel my B.Sc. isn’t confirmed. Here’s what happened:

I graduated with a B.Sc. in ing in 2024, but before that, I had already obtained an HND in 2020, which allowed me to complete my NYSC in 2021. During the recruitment process, I ed my B.Sc. certificate and my NYSC certificate (dated 2021). I’m guessing this may have caused confusion or led them to think my B.Sc. wasn’t valid since my NYSC date precedes my B.Sc. graduation.

I’ve replied to their email to clarify, but I’m wondering if there’s anything else I can do to appeal this decision or explain myself better. Has anyone experienced something similar, and how did you handle it? Should I keep pushing or just let it go? I’d appreciate any advice.

I did the same actually. However, mine is for experienced hire. I graduated my first degree in Economics in 2010, concluded my NYSC in 2012, went for my second degree in Public istration and graduated in 2024 which i used for my application.

I guess when they go through i might have same response as yours. I will be intrested in how you conclude the matter. All the best sir

It depends on the SSA's state, portfolio and his relationship to the governor. Some SSA's I know fair better than some dormant SLA's parading themselves about. It all boils down to your capacity and your relationship with your principal.

It's a sad one but the did is done, next time ensure you all your educational qualifications that precedes your NYSC even ND too, the problem with such errors is that you will not be there to explain yourself when they are taking their own decisions just like you doing now.

So during ing I put my HND, BSC in same PDF and tried to , but I couldn’t PDF format, I put both in a zip format document so I can together, but the firs portal style of is a one single picture format, I couldn’t merge and and it was in Kilobytes, like I literally did tried what you said but it was not possible, so I just ed on the bsc since that’s what qualifies me
