See how you turn logic upside down further confirming my suspicion that you are a teenager with anxiety problems.

I never said human rights does not exist, my assertion is that countries who have not advanced like the west must first focus on economic development which is what the west actually did. For there to be democracy the industrial revolution and the enlightenment had happened in Europe. This means individuals are now free to be individuals because they don't need to be dependent on another person for bread. Why do you think protests are easily manipulated in third world countries?

Again, the Chinese acknowledged they are not yet at the level of human standard of the west, hence they focus more on economic development and self reliance. Without this, the west will make them another dependent and cut their wings.

My brother, I am beginning to doubt you even understand the basics of an argument.

Gbadebo19:

You are really very daft to see human rights from the perspective of prosperity or standard of living.
Are you telling me that the right to seek redress in a court is about prosperity? The freedom of thought, conscience and religion is about human standard? The right against double jeopardy is about prosperity? Please go back to primary school.
And even talking about the so called human standard, is the average Chinese living a life better than the average American? Go back to primary school, I repeat.

Hmm.

So Singapore is practicing a form of democracy and Russia is not?

Singapore holds elections and so does Russia. Both Putin and LKY are great leaders who developed their countries. Why does the western media praise one and insult the other?

Lee Kuan Yew spent almost 30 yeara as prime minister after independence and he is not a dictator but Putin is for spending over 20 years cumulative as president.

I am just shaking my head at this level of hypocrisy.

obedience4:

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Another ignorant clown...

Jeez, the reason why I used Singapore was because of the close proximity with the time Nigeria and Singapore got independence.. a mere 5 years difference....
Your friend said democracy needed time to evolve, I simply stated that Singapore who got independence later and practice democracy was doing well.

Did Lee Kuan Yew win elections or not??
Was the agurement ever about dictatorship?? Was the agurement about putin being a dictator or not?? The bone of contention was if democracy was working in nigeria, the agurement i brought forward was that a certain country who got independence almost the same period as Nigeria is doing well practicing a form of democracy.

Is Singapore not practicing a form of democracy??

Comprehension has and will always be a problem in this thread.

Keep wallowing in your pool of ignorance

Stick to the argument or don't quote me..

Are we discussing Russia or putin?? Or what forms of government that Russia f..ing uses.

From which systems of government is suitable for Nigeria, you are now talking about putin and Russia..
I made a simple example using Singapore which got independence almost the same time as Nigeria. You are bringing putin. what does putin has to do with the type of systems of government Nigeria should adopt.

Am I the western media? Are we talking about western media now, the bone of contention is that me and the lawyer postulated that democracy still remains the best system of government for Nigeria and Africa, you counter claim and all of a sudden you have digress from the original argument to "putin" not being a dictator or western media blabalba...

Usmanpogo said he will bring out a framework of his idea for a better system of government for Nigeria, Jovi10 suggested regional government, you are blabbing about "putin" and Russia. I don't understand how that connects with the argument question.

Am still waiting for your preferred system which is better than democracy, that Nigeria and Africa needs. if your response is not in line with that am not interested in this futile debate..

⚡US President Joe Biden has called the exiled candidate for Venezuela's opposition, Edmundo González, "the true winner" of the country's presidential election last July after meeting him at the White House.

In a social media post, Biden said Venezuela deserved a "peaceful transfer of power".

González fled to Spain in September after turmoil following Venezuela's election, in which incumbent President Nicolás Maduro claimed victory - something disputed by González and many sections of the international community.

I really doubt if you can understand a primary school comprehension age.
First, you said you didn't say human rights doesn't exist, who in the first place accused you of saying so. I only whitewashed your stupid argument for seeing human rights from the perspective of economic prosperity and standard of living.
Listen, the rubbish that you wrote that countries that have not advanced to a certain level must first focus on economic prosperity is a total bull shit. Come on, have you forgotten that without a kind of parity with the rich and affluent, injustice will be the order of the day as justice will be bought? Or you want to tell me that the economic prosperity will be effective at the same level for both the rich and the poor? Keep dreaming. Without a shadow of doubt, a group of people will amass wealth before another group and will do anything to protect their wealth which will give rise to suppression of anything that may have to do with human right agitations.
Your assertions seems more to resonate with the feudal system of government. Kindly read about it and come back here to tell me if there is a brain in your head.
There will never be anything like human rights as long as economic prosperity is the first thing to seek.

Patiently waiting for the official ceasefire agreement.

Hamas has held on far more than anybody expected. And there will also be reprieve for Palestinians who have survived genocidal attempts.

I can't even believe Hamas is holding on strong at this stage with the Israeli prisoners still in their possession especially when "Hamas has lost its military capabilities", "Israel has destroyed almost all the tunnels", and "killed 17k out of their 20k ". Imagine Israel still having "difficult days" at this stage where almost all of Gaza is flattened.

By the way, the biggest loser of the conflict is Iran.

How Jesus enter this matter?

Ai is not some all knowing being, any info it brings out are from various data sources in the Internet..

In this case the Russian casualties in Ukraine, the Ai search engine simply looked for sources with Russian casualties..and then generate a answer for you..
Such answers maybe wrong or right depending on the topic in question..

For example if you type is "Jesus christ is God" it will bring proof that Jesus chirist is God..

When you also write is Jesus christ is not God,it will also try to bring reasons why Jesus is not God. Using references from Islam and other denominations.

You saying AI is lying is kinda funny..

Iran lost many things. Not directly in the Hamas conflict but as a result of the conflict.

- Their own top commanders without adequate response. They did show some strength when they fired missiles into Israel twice. I didn't see a tit for tat response.

- Lost Syria to Turkey and now slowing losing influence to Saudi in Lebanon.

- Proved to the world they cannot be trusted as their own military has been infiltrated. The assassination of Haniyeh in a military complex in Tehran is a perfect example. Even the assassination of Nasrallah happened when he was meeting Iranian Generals, including Gen. Abbas Nilforushan.

- The axis of resistance is gradually dismantling. Syria is gone, Hezbollah has unlinked their Israel conflict with Gaza, and for some reason the 250k strong Iraqi PMF that was marching to Syria did not fight.

I labelled Al Aqsa flood Iran's coming-out party.
I stand by that.

Anyone who thinks you can enter 21st century conflicts without staining your white watches too many Hollywood movies.

Iran had engaged in a number of recent conflicts, like the Iraq insurgency, the Syria war, the anti-ISIS campaign, and the Yemeni war.
They had built up a formidable Shia Crescent.
This was their first conflict with a proper peer power who had the unlimited backing of the US.

It was always going to be a costly endeavor.
I've said as much as events have transpired. That's expected.

The lessons from this War are invaluable.
To illustrate, Iran's ongoing exercises have prioritized air defense maneuvers with homegrown systems.
That used to be an after thought. They're also focusing a heck of a lot more on counter intelligence and SIGNIT.
Turkey is now a priority. No one has any illusions about the importance of the economy on political stability in light of the SAA's stunning collapse.

They're essentially fixing the blind spots they had that they could paper over when their opponents were rebels, terrorists, and ineffectual Arab militaries. In much the same way that Russia has revised its military doctrine many times over during the course of its SMO. From the use of combined arms brigades to all-domain drone warfare.
You can send your generals into undefended battle spaces when you fight truck-driving terrorists, it's a different ballgame when you're fighting a military with F-35s and NATO intelligence.

You can't buy or train experience.
You have to get in the thick of it. Explains why many are pressing on China to the action to boost preparedness.
What comes at the other end of this conflict is a beast with scars.
Iranian missiles fired from Yemen are still striking targets in Israel after the deployment of THAAD AD.

I don't consider Iran a loser in this War.
They had setbacks, but you don't deploy tanks and expect all of them to return to storage in perfect condition.
Syria is turning out to be a blessing in disguise.
Turkey will divert some of the attention and let them rapidly modernize their military and reform the Resistance.

We've been hearing lots of noise about Turkey. Yet the Kurds with 1/100000th of the IDF's capabilities is disciplining them right on their border.
Heck, even the Houthis have handled more adversity than the Turks. But I guess it's understandable that folks would have their own interpretation of events.

No it isn't. But then Israel isn't deliberately targeting civillians and journalist.

Oh there's a woman and her two kids let's kill them, Israel isn't doing that.

Israel has the ability to kill a million gazans in a month.

That has not happened Israel carry out precise airstrikes on hamas tunnels which you know what they are under.

People may die innocent people may die but they were never the target of the airstrikes.

The argument in bold is stale at this point. Very stale in fact, and you should know better.

Israel has destroyed over 170,000 buildings in Gaza. Hamas has around 20,000 fighters. Even if a Hamas fighter hides under each house, Israel would have only destroyed 20,000 buildings.

But it has destroyed 8 and a half times of that, and somehow, you are trying to convince us that it is not deliberate.

There is literally no way Israel will kill that many civilians and journalists, and destroy that many buildings, and then you will try to it off as indeliberate. There is no way. Absolutely no way.

You know, this is one of the reasons why it is proven that you are just a kid who know absolutely nothing about Nigeria's history. You keep clamouring about a system that suits the people. Fine, regional leadership will work but I don't want to cause an ethnic issue here.
Do you think the northern part of Nigeria that produces absolutely nothing and eats everything will allow Nigeria to go back to regional government? Ordinary tax bill, the north is boiling. We once practiced regional government in the days of Awolowo, but why do you think we came to settle for a federal system. Please, stop putting your mouth in things that has to do with problem solving.

Well you're right in a way, but the major reason we have rained stagnant and allow the North hold all of us ransom is because, most of our leaders are as stupid as dumb as you're gbadebo 😁😁😁. The moment the west and south and middle decide it's game over, then it surely will be game over.

My kind of regional leadership is different from the one you know. When I have the time I'll explain and break it down for you so it can enter into your wooden skull😁

A March 18, 2022, ABC segment from Los Angeles is now going viral in American social media. The story? Local firefighters were shipping “excess equipment” to Ukraine.

This included firefighting gear, helmets, protective equipment, hoses, and hydrant nozzles—items that, by 2025, became desperately needed in Los Angeles itself. With supplies depleted, firefighters were reportedly forced to carry water in bags to extinguish flames.

Back in 2022, LA city and county fire departments, along with the National Guard, loaded an entire transport plane with equipment bound for Ukraine.

Fast-forward to now, just months after devastating fires swept through LA, and the retired fire chief who authorized the donation, Daryl Osby, is facing calls to be held able.
