Pastor Funke Adejumo set to be ordained a Bishop! Is it right biblically for a woman to hold such exalted position in the church?

There is no time she and many female bishops I know exact authority over men. Someone like Pastor Funke focus on teaching women and submissive to her husband and never claimed she has authority over men in matter that concerns men. So, many of these women bishops have not really violated that age of the scripture or have you heard are arguing with men in her local church over excersing authority over them or claiming superiority over them?

That is why Jesus Christ promised that the Holy Spirit shall teach you all Truths. Paul was ordained by God to the Gentiles, he was not speaking of His own just like Jesus was not talking of his own when he said... it was not so from the biggning, but because of stiffness of isrealites, Moses made that law and God approved it for that time because he was an oracle of God. Paul was not speaking of himself. All scripture is for edification of the church, obey to the last letter.

Though I see this as a history maker, one where she will be celebrated as one of the female bishops in Nigeria. And like you said earlier these churches are not really the churches of God because whatever is said by the earlier apostles is not really accepted by them. They take what they like and reject what they don't or twist it

I don't think the argument that she shouldnt should be based on the mosaic laws, Jesus isn't even our high priest based on those laws which honestly God's children are no more under.


The main reason should be why is she been made a bishop and what is her role going to be as a bishop, and the most important who is making her a bishop?

If the appointment is not from God even if she is a man, then it's wrong
