"Mufasa : The Lion King" 2 Review Growing up as a young lad across the Lagos Creeds, was a story of our childhood most sang movie songs, The Lion King. The love for the animated movie made us even named ourselves after our favorites characters. We thought we had seen it all until Disney splashed our adulthood with the prequel of the movie. Summary "The Lion King Mufasa story" drove us to the origin of Simba's parents. This is done in a realistic style of animation, that was actually very well done, and shows a great leap forward for the genre. It focuses on how a lost cub found himself among a tyrannic and biased lion pride led by Obasi. The Afro fusion made the movie worth a thousand smiles. It was clearly seen that Love for an opposite sex can create an eternal enemity between people. Taka also known as Scar, a rightly heir, fell in love for a strangerβSarabi while the lioness had eyes for Mufasa. Love, a powerful tool served as the grounds for enemity. The style of rulership taught by Obasi to Takaβscar was made on politrick and not boldness. When a true leader appeared, the self Acclaimed Pride was threatened. One of the highlights of the movie is that you can be a stranger in a territory and you will see just that one person that will love you unconditionally. The visuals were fantastic, the story though dragged a bit. The voice cast is filled with great actors that do bring their characters alive. Now when I saw the original Lion King, the big scene was the death of Mufasa, and how Disney had shown it instead of turning away and inferring. This film brings that up a notch, and honestly if small children are seeing this, parents should be prepared for a discussion of the cycle of life. Let me not bore you with a long epistle. Just it and see for yourself. It's a movie regardless your age you will learn alot from. I will rate this movie 9.7/10 10 Likes 1 Share |

This Lion King storyline has been over-flogged. They should put it to rest. It's becoming tiring to watch.

BoldBrainz: Na so. The palaver is that the people that watched the original as children are now adults, and are entering the movie and animation industry and essentially promoting the remake of films and animation they loved as children. As seen in eg Ghostbusters, and so forth. E tire somebodi. Fortunately , new stuff is still being made though. 6 Likes |

I haven't watched it but in the original Lion King, Mufasa and Scar were clearly brothers with Mufasa being the elder and the king, Scar was the younger and heir apparent until Simba was born. From the plot of this movie, they completely ruined the dynamic and turned Scar into the rightful ruler and Mufasa an Usurper. In that case it was actually Scar who was cheated. 4 Likes 1 Share |

![]() What's the essence of the sequel, South African are no longer anybody's honey. So adding their jibidy jubudi jabidi dash won't sell it. The world has moved on. BoldBrainz: My point exactly π€¦ Samantha125: Is your boyfriend part of the cast? This one you are even dancing π€¦ 1 Like |
