I'm thinking of relocating to another state within Nigera and start a new life with 1million naira?

The major reason for relocating is that something happened to me and i want to move on from the pains, depression etc. I've tried to move on but it's not working.

What's wrong with the state you're in.

Nb. You modified your post to add reasons.

Ok, I am modifying mine.

1 million can set you up nicely in any good state.

As an individual that has housing across three states and has relocated more than once in each of the three states, i say yes. You can reloxate. But have you tried moving to a different city within your state first ?

Hold it there.
Nothing happened to you.

I guess you must probably be a criminal fleeing to evade arrest.

I'm just scared of how to survive before securing a job. Considering that I'll use the 1m to settle down in of house rent etc. when i relocate.

Settle for cheaper house like self contain or one room, then you can buy other things, including foodstuff. Looking for job is another cup of tea, unless you have connections in that area.
Goodluck.

You'd be comfortable for two weeks in any states in Nigeria you wish you relocate to.

Relocating to a new state can be a fresh start, but it's essential to consider the challenges and opportunities that come with it, especially with a limited budget of 1 million naira. Here are some thoughts to consider:

Financial Considerations
1. Cost of living: Research the cost of living in the new state, including accommodation, food, transportation, and other expenses.
2. Job opportunities: Consider the job market in the new state and your chances of finding employment. You may need to have a job lined up or a plan for generating income.
3. Budgeting: Create a realistic budget that s for your expenses, savings, and emergency funds.

Emotional Considerations
1. Healing process: While relocating can provide a fresh start, it's essential to acknowledge that it may not automatically heal emotional wounds. Consider seeking professional help or groups to address your depression and pain.
2. system: Think about building a new network in the new state, including friends, family, or a therapist.
3. Self-care: Prioritize self-care activities, such as exercise, meditation, or hobbies, to help manage stress and emotions.

Practical Considerations
1. Accommodation: Research affordable housing options, such as apartments or shared accommodations.
2. Transportation: Consider the transportation options available in the new state, including public transportation or affordable vehicle options.
3. Healthcare: Research healthcare options in the new state, including hospitals, clinics, and health insurance.

States to Consider
Some states in Nigeria with relatively lower costs of living and good job opportunities are:

1. Kaduna: Known for its affordable housing and growing economy.
2. Jos: Offers a relatively low cost of living and a growing tourism industry.
3. Ilorin: Has a low cost of living and a growing agricultural industry.
4. Calabar: Offers a relatively low cost of living and a growing tourism industry.

Ultimately, the success of your relocation depends on your preparation, resilience, and adaptability. Take your time to research, plan, and prepare for this new chapter in your life.

you can move over to my town, where l will help you get a modest self con of around 100k, then l can also assist you to use 900k and buy two good fairly used bikes, and give it out to young Hausa drivers, you will be making 2500 per bike, that's 5k daily. All the best bro.

You should have a plan of what you want to use the 1m to do or else you'll exhaust it in no time and start suffering.

Please relocate peacefully and quietly. If you are married with kids, consider your family above everything. Security and quality education availability for your children in the area you are relocating to are non negotiable. You are on a wrong footing by announcing it to the whole world first.

I'd suggest you relocate to far away Tulo-Tulo of Yobe State. It has a desert too.

You better pray to God before you relocate To anywhere ,

that is what we keep saying ,

don't let any negative experience or what anyone or enemies do to you hinder you from making progress in life ,

what if that bad experience you had was what the enemies planned to use to chase you away from your current location ,so that you will not succeed ,

so pray ,

this is one of the thing we learnt this from our role model Princess faith Chukwu ,

Never give up.

You have to first find something that brings you income because if you relocate to Abuja or Port Harcourt you will be spending. You need something doing pending when you reset.
