no offense but posts like this often make me wonder. Who do you think really has time to be suggesting schools with funding for you?. Moreover funding varies according to applicants. Since you are going for a PHD, utilize your research skills to find these universities. You have to know which states in the US you want to be in, then zero in on schools offering PHD opportunities in your field, then start emaling their departments for funding possibilities. Nothing good comes easy, you have to do the work

The new Avits portal doesn't allow group appointment.
I'm F2 and my husband is F1 and we have a Son that is F2 too. We wanted to book it one by one before but someone advised we should book it separately with different phones or laptop and that was what we did. This is the 6th week and they haven't approved any of us yet and if we do it one by one, there is no how we would have meet up. I advise you pay her visa fee and fill her Ds 160 form with different phone or laptop and when it's time to book appointment, you can book it together and go to the interview together.

if you have anyone abroad that can help you make payment for your visa fee kindly do so, I made payment with first banks since NoV 10th and up until today I could not get pay confirmation. this night a friend helped me make payment and it took me to the pre approval page for of i20.

Finish yours and then hers separately. While filling her Ds 160, she would still mention your name as the spouse.
Once we are given approval by God's grace, we would book the same date and we were told that while booking, we should look for date that have more availability so that if you quickly book one, there would still be date for your spouse and you have to be fast about it. Book same date and same time and on the interview day, you will go together.

I understand applying individually. I did that as well based on your advice to someone else in an earlier post. Thank you for that. The I-20 you submitted for each of the application contains both F1 and F2 details, right?

For further clarification in my case, there are 3 dependents(F2). So whilst filling for an F2 whose information on the I-20 is on pages 9 -12 and we have 15pages, we'd have to submit all pages 1-15, right?

Good evening bro,I don't know y ur pre approval request was rejected, it was not stated on the AVITS portal the
size of i-20 , if your size is heavy ,it won't go tru at the first place,so is not the size of your i-20 that caused the rejection....so I don't have any info y ur pre approval was rejected

Hi Miracle. Just to clarify, do you mean that we should use different profiles when applying, or we can use the same AVITS profile but do it one after another from a different phone or laptop.

When is your resumption date?

Did you sign your i-20 before ing?

Have you paid your servis fee?

Did you a very clear copy of your i-20?

Normally, the school sends the i20 together, starting with the F1. Though, it's together but you will send it separately by splitting it. You will the one of f2 with one starting with f2. Hope you understand.

If you use the same Avits profile, you have to pay your visa fee first, the preapproval stage and get an approval to book an appointment before you can start filling the ds 160 of your dependent(s) and repeat the same. They do not accept group applications at once. Someone advised us to do it separately.
You can use the same laptop to do that but not on the same profile. You can open different tabs.

Once it's time to book appointment, you can book the appointment together using different phones and laptop depending on how many dependent and you can book same date and time. You have to be fast in choosing the date. Hope you understand.

He can change his F2 to F1 in country. He can also choose a community college if it's cheaper.

Yes, I signed my I 20
And yes I’ve paid my SEVIS fee
Concerning ing clear copy of the I 20 ( I snapped it, i did not scan)

But i’ve just ed it again. I’ve scanned it clearly and I’ve ed it again just now.

And can this also be the cause of the rejection…. On my DS 160 form, the date of arrival i put there is 20th and I still put the same date as date of travel when they asked on the AVITS website I.e before the pre approval stage
