Introduction
Beloved, it is sobering to consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:21, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” These words challenge us to look beyond outward religiosity and focus on the core of our faith: doing God’s will.

Let us explore this truth together, not as a critique of going to church but as a call to live lives that truly please God.

Discussion Questions

1. What does it mean to do the will of the Father?

Jesus summarized God’s will in Mark 12:30-31: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself.” It is not about rituals or appearances but about living in love and obedience to God’s commandments.

2. Does going to church guarantee entry into the Kingdom?

While attending church is good for fellowship and spiritual growth (Hebrews 10:25), Jesus makes it clear that it is not the ultimate qualification for heaven. The Pharisees were devout in their religious practices, yet Jesus said, “Woe to you...you shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces” (Matthew 23:13). True faith goes beyond rituals; it requires a heart surrendered to God.

3. Can someone who never goes to church enter heaven?

Consider the parable of the two sons in Matthew 21:28-32. One son initially refused to obey his father but later repented and did his will. Jesus concluded, “The tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.” It is not about where you are but whether you respond to God’s call with a willing heart.

Key Points to Reflect On

1. God Desires Obedience, Not Pride

1 Samuel 15:22: “To obey is better than sacrifice.” Pride in religious affiliation or personal works does not impress God. A humble and obedient heart does.

2. Faith Without Action is Dead

James 2:26: “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” Pleasing God requires us to live out our faith in how we treat others and honor Him.

3. The Kingdom is for All Who Believe and Obey

Whether someone finds God in a church, on the streets, or in their personal struggles, what matters is their response to Him. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

Interactive Reflection

How can you do God’s will in your daily life?

Are there areas where you are relying on appearances rather than true obedience to God?

How can you share God’s love with someone who may never step into a church?

Conclusion
Beloved, let us not be deceived by religion or church-pride. Jesus is calling us to a deeper walk—one rooted in obedience and love for God and others. , the Kingdom of Heaven is for those who do the will of the Father. Whether you are in a church pew or out in the world, let your life reflect His glory.

“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it” (Luke 11:28). Let us strive to be among them.

May God help us to live lives pleasing to Him. Amen!

GOD'S WILL!

God's will is found in the first chapter of the first Bible book Genesis:

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” ‭Genesis 1:28

Humans are to spread throughout the earth as God's replicates making the earth beautiful with the wisdom God gave us but sin changed us into something else that's why we lost the privilege {Romans 3:23} so we need to go back to what God purposed for us in the beginning and make this planet a haven.

We can't do that on our own without a perfect being coming to teach us how to achieve it so God promised in the Bible book of Isaiah 2:2-4 & Micah 4:1-3 that His will for mankind is to use what is found written in His word to educate ourselves globally and the expected result is to settle all our disparities peacefully among ourselves, divert all our resources into the production of food and information materials, stop the making, buying, selling and using of weapons against our fellow humans and vow never to raise weapons against anyone again!

This is the global educational program Jesus of Nazareth established through his ministry and nobody can enter God's Kingdom without participating in this program.
Jesus said @ John 3:16

God love the world so much that He gave his only begotten son so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

Believing in Jesus means trusting his teachings that it's only by PRACTICING what he taught us we will make this planet a haven therefore whoever rejects Jesus' instructions can never see God's Kingdom! John 3:17-18

WHY?

Because by preaching and teaching in all our neighbourhood we will become friends with all those we discuss the Kingdom message while angels are penning down our names as people doing the will of God.

The first Bible book has revealed what God had in mind when He created us so the last book of the Old Testament revealed a sacred secret:

Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name. ‭Malachi 3:16 NIV‬

In this Bible verse we realized that God instructed that the names of all those discussing about doing God's will with one another are written for their remembrance!

Now what will happen to those who feels unconcerned?

The wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God. Psalms 9:17 NIV‬

The last Bible book says:

Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 NIV‬

In summary God's will is sacrificing our time to speak with our neighbour one on one about God's purpose for mankind which Jesus commissioned {Matthew 28:19-20} all those doing so will have their names written in the book of life! Malachi 3:16; Revelations 20:15

Must we attend church services to do this?

YES!

Because it's only when we meet together with fellow believers that we will continue encouraging ourselves to keep doing this work: God's will! Hebrews 10:24-25

God bless you and may you have PEACE!

Only the 12 tribes of Israel will enter the kingdom of heaven not Christianity.

Jesus didn't know you, he didn't know any Christianity, the word " Christianity was not mentioned by Jesus. Jesus only sent to Israel and he will judge 12 tribes of Israel

Matthew 19:28
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel

Jesus died for the sins of the world not just the Jews.

Joh 1:29 KJV The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

That's why the bible says WHOEVER calls on the Lord will be saved, not just Jews.

Act 2:21 KJV And it shall come to , that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

So when the bible says specifically that Jesus will be a light to the gentiles, wetin gentile mean to you?

Act 26:23 KJV That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Bring any verses where Jesus said he will die for the sin of the world?

Another statement from the Jesus himself was that he sent to only the lost sheep of Israel. Are you among the load sheep of Israel?

Matthew 10:5-6

Eph.4.11 - He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
Eph.4.12 - Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ,
Eph.4.13 - until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.

THE BIG PROBLEM OF CONTRADICTION AND EVIDENCE OF INTERPOLATION!

Aside from the fact that Mark 16:15-17 contradicts the three verses in Matthew which explicitly confirm that Jesus was only sent to/for the Jews, there is also the problem of interpolation or fabrication in Mark Chapter 16.

In all bibles you can think of and check by yourself,Mark Chapter 16 ends at verse no.8. Verses 9-20 are not found in all bibles.verses 9-20 are relegated to a footnote because of lack of "authenticity" for it to be part of the "gospel".here is the reason from the "horse's mouth" that the bible authors themselves give:

Bible versions relegated verses 9-20 of Mark Chapter 16 to a footnote.then they give the reason why:

“The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9–20”
