E ku market o.
OANDO faithfuls patiently waiting for their turn. smiley
Hopefully the corporate action on the distribution will be out by Friday at least...
I think Fridays are not ideal for such good news. Today would have been better. Otherwise, maybe they should leave it till Monday.

Why I said possibly Friday was because of the 5days notification/notice adopted in the AGM...
5th day should be Monday or Tuesday and is expected before then......just my opinion anyway.
Hopefully it won't be more than that....

A stock made over 76bn Naira in profit, restructuring going on and someone will expect it to stay put in one spot?
Make we dey watch nah.
Maybe na their kobo kobo moved it to this level, dem go tell us.

I think to say "massive sell-off " is an over exaggeration.

But for me, I think the way they drafted the AGM decision on the share redistribution in the Corporate Action announcement yesterday generated some uncertainties. As a result people don't know whether to buy, sell or hold.

Hopely, they will follow quickly with clearer statement of how it will be implemented, giving clear dates and share allocation ratios.

designking:

I swear... Wale run AGM, investors hit am with massive selloff.

Many felt investors didn't interprete the messages from the AGM properly but the truth is that investors are indifferent about this Oando. They are not just interested at the moment.

Even with the great ENI AGIP assets they acquired, they can't still raise the company from it ashes. The management team at Oando are politicians.

Aradel share price was seriously hit after listing on the NGX but they never ran to the media to weep up sentiment to sure up their share price. They maintained their cool and focused on growing their brand and today, they are back on winning ways.

They seems to be purposely keeping the price down for whatever reason is known to them.

TRANSPOWER, VFDGROUP

I am suspecting and anticipating be a clandestine rush for Oando shares a few days before they announce the dates.
You can mark this!

To hit it big in this market, you need to wear patience up and down and tie am for head as gele too. See stocks like Chams, toying with Loco's emotions. The moment he sells, the stock will zoom off

Many more people were able to go into Oando because it was selling cheap for a very long time e.g. N5-N20
Aradel was more expensive, hence fewer people were able to buy; This partly explains the difference in the ion that both stocks generate here on NL, aside the controversies' about Oando's connections to the govt of the day.

You've just added another land-marking and apocalyptic submission.
Stock trading is no doubt a wonderful game, if you know how to play it. Never say die.
However, it takes human beings decades to learn, because of our greedy, impatient and fearful nature.

In a one to 3 months frame, Guinea Insurance may hit N1.00

But wait, is it not owned by the same Emeka Offor who owned Niger Insurance and watched it as it went bankrupt and was delisted ?

Emeka Offor owned majority shares of about 27% in Niger Insurance. He was also a significant shareholder in Guinea Insurance. He even got Life insurance policy job of Nigeria Customs Service for Niger Insurance in a bid to keep the company afloat but to no avail.

We dey. I am waiting to redirect the largesse to OANDO, same thing I did with my WAPCO earnings. Lol

I’ve never understood this “more” expensive thing before, is it because with smaller share prices you get more units which gives the illusion of greater gains? 500k in Oando and 500k in Aradel is the same exact thing if they both move up by 10%, regardless of number of units held.

I had friends who I marketed Aradel to everyday from #5k pre-split and they didn’t buy because it was also “too expensive” but they later bought at the split price of #517 (#10k), not knowing they’d have got more units buying it at #5k
