This is an act of legislative rascality. The Edo State House of Assembly does not have any constitutional power to suspend or dissolve any local government until the expiration of their tenure. The local government chairmen should challenge the impunity in court. I'm sure, the Assembly will be fined heavily.

It is the way our constitution is structured. The house of assembly controls the excesses of the local government areas but the national assembly doesn't control the state government constitutionally.
Operation work on the constitution to make it reflective of the desire of the people. Mere supreme court pronouncement cannot do the magic. Let the constitution specified the workings of all organs of the government and this issue will be surmounted.

They monitor but cannot removed constitutionally elected government officials. The whole senerio is the height of political gangsterism and barbarism backed with dubious praises from their various political hallelujah boys.
