I will strongly advise you not to go with Mpower loan. Get the school to fund you.

There's nothing wrong with using mpower loan and it won't make them deny you the visa. However you must ensure you have a good reason to proof to them that you can pay back the loan without working in the US. This has been the problem with most people. They are usually unable to give good reasons on how they would pay back the loan without working in the US.
Here are some good reasons
1. Good amount of money in your bank that can settle your loan at least for the first year.
2. A good Work history
3. Demonstration of a strong economic family background, i.e father working in a reputable company and earning good amount or mother running a business with good monthly returns
4. You own a business that can you while you are away for studies
5. The course you intend to study has a good economic value and would make you earn way more or help you climb the professional ladder when you return
In all these, you must be able to demonstrate to the vo that you understand the loan and how you intend paying back your loan without working in the US.

Me:I said OK ma(I just bounce outside) as I come out to pick my phone (two security officers, call me back,and asked me,how was it,I replied fine)
I want to return all glory to God, for seeing me through the interview process, i also Want thank everyone who have contributed in one way or the other ,i really appreciate you guys ,thanks so much....

Brother, to be sincere with you,it cannot be influence by anybody, I just follow the suggestion been raised here ,which is sending email and attach my mrv and sevis receipt with my 1-20 and i it prayer

And when you did this your preapproval stage was approved?
After doing this, how long did it take to get approved? And can you please share the context of the email?

Not sure of question 1 but for question 2, you don’t need to fill any new DS-160

I meant adding an F2 dependent -for a minor, (adding my child in my application as the only option there is "adult"  . I was asking how to go about that, if any one has tried doing so.

Me: Out of 3 University I applied to,I chose temple university based on their research out and the Research facility at school of Engineering which align perfectly when to my career
