After the Israelites have stayed for centuries on the promise land David decided to build a befitting temple for the God of Jacob but God told him not to because David's hands are full of blood so Solomon was given the assignment to build a temple for the God of Israel.
Later this Temple was demolished by Babylonian army under the command of King Nebuchadnezzar but was later rebuilt and until the arrival of Christ Jesus the renovated temple stands in Jerusalem.
Jesus promised to demolish the temple once again and to rebuild it within three days.
How is he going to do that?

First century Jews became so furious at what Jesus said after their people who heard him returned home to tell them what the supposed Messiah (Christ) told them about their most cherished place of worship.

Well Jesus wasn't talking about the physical temple {John 2:21} rather he meant another type of temple that's not stationed in a particular location that's why he told a Samaritan woman saying:

"Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for indeed, the Father is looking for ones like these to worship him. God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24

The day Jesus died something strange occur in the temple, the large curtain of the sanctuary was miraculously torn from top to bottom! Matthew 27:51

I'm not telling a story that's why i didn't go into the details in full, the lesson is about Jesus and the spiritual temple almost everyone has heard of how Jesus died so that's not the purpose of this thread.

After Jesus died pure worship stopped globally and for three days whoever is worshiping in any part of the earth is only doing so on his or her own no form of gathering represents pure worship again until the third day when Jesus was raised from the dead, his disciples started calling one another to share the GOOD NEWS that the resurrection of the dead is no longer a dream but a certainty because we now have the first born from the dead who will live forever.
From that very moment pure worship is only the gathering of Christians and Jesus who is the new High Priest will no longer officiate inside the old temple in Jerusalem but inside the new temple which is the gathering of his disciples.
That's why he said where two or three of his disciples are gathered he will be present in their midst! Matthew 18:20

So whoever is traveling to Jerusalem let them know today that Jesus the New High Priest no longer officiate in that temple rather he now officiates in the gathering of his disciples!

We are all temples of the holy Spirit.

God created a temple called the human body and he breathed his holy Spirit into it....and man became a living soul or a conscious being...
Death is just the reversal..
The spirit returns to God who owns it
The body is buried in the earth to return to dust...

Your brother, my sibling, was discussing with me the other day, he was shocked when I told him that we also know these things. Since we cannot change them, we don't dwell on them much, not at all.

I don't know how old you were in the late 70s and early 80s here in Nigeria if you belong to an opposition political party you have automatically signed your own death warrant as your house and families could be burnt alive for it.
So whatever makes Kumuyi's taking sides in politics makes them vulnerable to attacks by political thugs you are calling "TERRORISTS"!
