I agree the people are trying, but ask yourself, how many people you know that would hit their chest and say, i want to do this particular thing for my country so that it can get better. Nigerian government is the reflection of Nigerian citizens that's the truth. We all want to japa, me inclusive. Your premise differs from mine. My point is about the country in question, not the language they speak there. If the OP have permanent residency in lets say Norway, and UK, he will achieve more in Norway than the UK.

UK is just a third world country attached to London. Outside London (which is unaffordable anyway for a starter), UK is really broke. I am referring to the UK of today, 2024, not twenty years ago.
