If bulletproof charm was real white man would not have conquered us with guns and canon. Anyone believing this in 2024 is a fool
Hmm, not factually correct. Bulletproof charms came to be worked on only after the white men came. Meaning, they didn't exactly have charm for bulletproof prior. The white men later necessitated it for them.

And a little of history, e.g. Benin fought and conquered white men in first battles. Awori/Lagos/Badagry also fought and conquered white men in battles. At least, southern Nigeria lost, not due to lack of charms or tools, but due to lack of posing a unified front.

What is the symbol of the entire European medical field? It is Asclepius. Asclepius, the Greek god of healing, is iconicaly represented by the Rod of Asclepius, a universal symbol of medicine.

You are not chosen my friend; you're lost, brainwashed, and far removed from reality. The same Europeans who convinced you they dumped theirs, extended Asclepius' legacy beyond mythology. They made this particular Orisha their patron saint of medicine, and his name is still used in various medical contexts all over the world.

So if the symbol or rod of ascepus or whatever is changed to a coconut today medicine would loose its values? I'm lost good, why don't you return to the cave like our fathers and abandon modern science then?

benin ambushed less than 500 men. Then the British came back with 1200 men. Imagine that tiny amount of people winning an empire because thay had maxim guns. The Benin had been using gun for over 300 years at that point after with the Portuguese. Why bulletproof no work? 🥱

Well, you're correct, and I'm also quite correct.

If lots of tribes had posed a united front, they could have launched offensive together, or at least, very strong defensive. Imagine, small Benin, only them. In southwest too, of all the many tribes in the Yoruba ethnicity, it was only Ijebu and Awori that threw up a fight. Imagine if they all were together, all of them. Imagine if the greeeaaat Oyo had ed them. Imagine if Mali had quitted its jihad and ed them. Imagine if all those tribes in each ethnicity had united to fight!

And 300 years prior, the Portuguese. Yes. I'm not going to speak for the charm inventors of old, but undoubtedly, they must have been workers for powerful men, e.g. kings who wielded the Portuguese gun. So, that gun could have been a threat to them personally or their employers must have been out of question.

And, also, too, the charm inventors, and even till date hardly unite in of knowledge sharing with one another, potentially inhibiting their "charm" growth, one could say. And, 300 years? Come on! 300 years is too little to work effective charms out as it is usually often a continuum ed from a charm inventor and to his apprentice and to his apprentice and to his apprentice, and like that before comprehensive effectiveness.

Lastly, you're correct, but I must say that I believe situations were not very straightforward for them in the old with the colonialist Britons and we need to cut their cultural systems, beliefs, etc. some slack.

Dude, you're totally missing the point. The Rod of Asclepius is a symbol of how Western medicine draws from ancient knowledge. They're not hiding it - they're actually proud of their roots.

Same with other cultures, like Indians with Ayurveda, Chinese with Acupuncture, and Japanese with Kanpo. They're all building on traditional knowledge to advance modern medicine.

It's wild that you think science just popped out of thin air, with no connection to spirituality or indigenous knowledge. That's some colonized thinking right there.

Time to wake up and recognize the real history of science. Then we can have a more legit conversation.

You should learn to separate fiction from reality before discussing about science. Do you think your "bullet proof charm" has any similarity to acupuncture for instance?
Science is based on observable logic, not baseless assumptions like spiritualists want you to believe.
They are two separate things, like I said, the Europeans once relied on spirituality like your shoot and bounce trash, but they moved on from that after learning more about the laws of physics and chemistry.
If you are blinded by some symbols then that's your problem.

See as him lie down like a defeated foe grin grin grin

I wonder whats going on in his mind cheesy cheesy cheesy

Me I want to meet with the person that went to patronise Usman and ask his opinion about bullet charm.

Does he still believe in it? grin grin grin

To those who would argue that it works, does it make your skin to be hard like thick steel so that bullets can not penetrate it
or it slows down the velocity of the bullets so that by the time they touch your skin its more like breeze blowing you?

How does it work?
You cannot know the sweetness of a soup until you taste it.let's test it on your belly first so that you can tell the story better.
