I like the capital expenditure proportion to recurrent. Just curious, what are the projected sources of this budget finance? Are these mostly from state IGR, or from oil/gas, VAT, and borrowing? 2 Likes |

Zulu11zulu: That is why you don't hear them Agitating for Arewa Nation... The South East wants to go..... The South South wants to go..... The South West wants to go.... Even the North Central wants to go.... Only the Core North wants to maintain "One Nigeria" Because they are not really sure of how to survive if Nigeria is divided. 9 Likes |

Wow.. Just wow!! A state that generates about 10 billion naira a month (120 billion naira a year) is planning to spend 1.2 trillion naira in a year; 10 times what it generates! No be juju be that? No wonder they're vehemently against the tax reform bill. That tax reform bill must become law. After VAT, resources control is next. 9 Likes |

I think state governments may be awash with more cash has the fuel subsidy is gone. This used to eat into their monthly allocation. |

Even Niger state is doing T1.2 as if it's easy. I think somehow either it's becoming a joke or it's a competition on who proposes higher figures.
