I have a Bachelor's degree in my home country and relocated to Canada where I did a one year Postgraduate Diploma in Canada. I created an EE profile and I'm on 474. Before locating to Canada, I was already on 474 as I evaluated my BSc and ACCA certificate degree. Now, even after putting that I have a one year Postgraduate Certification in Canada the score didn't change from 474 to 489. On the section that shows 'Education In Canada' it's 0, but there should be a figure there. I have reviewed all my details and it's correct. I even have the one year postgraduate diploma reflected there, and the fact that it was done in Canada. But my score didn't change. What can I do please? Can someone help me?

Good morning house please I would like to ask for those who have a Bsc in nursing and have their RN and RM license is there a chance it can be evaluated as two or more certificates? And if yes how can it be done please thank you .

Oly23: Hello Dr. Pls if I redo my English test and max out, I will be at 465 correct. Now I have just observed that the last draw on health was cut at 463. With my 465 and hoping on the next draw, are there chances that the cut off will be higher than 465, and if it is higher, what bcoms my fate? Shebi I will still remain in the pool hopelessly. |
SemperFid: 12:13pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
House34: L Pls are you saying that the next cut off for healthcare will never be lower than 463? because I missed the last one at 463 but now that I can max my language and sit on 465 does it mean that if the next healthcare is over 465 then I will not ? |
Oly23(f): 3:41pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
SemperFid:There are chances that the score will be higher just as there are chances it will be lower. The important thing is to be in the pool . You are not hopelessly remaining in the pool, Health and Trade are the two category based draws that will continue for some time, if you missed this one at least you are sure there will be another one, plus there is OINP as well you might get NOI. It has always been a game of chance with a high CRS score placing you at an advantage. 2 Likes |

Chinwendufedi: use this tool to check your entry and try to simulate the score you should have had, you can trace where you are getting the mistake from "https://ircc.canada.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp" |

Hi guys, I have a question to ask please, I was sent a letter to apply for Manitoba pnp. Do I need to submit Wes evaluation for it or wait till when I'm submitting express entry.

jasperonyx: 6:08am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Maria96:Thank you so much. I thought since Engineering is a professional course, it will give the master's point. So the evaluating body do not matter. |

Long read alert!!!! So this is my story. I want to majorly talk about my work experience because that’s where I need help. Initially when I entered the pool my score was 472 and these were the details of my work experience in summary Job 1 (one year long) Job 2 (one year long) Job 3 ( nine months) Job 4 ( current job not up to a year) Meaning that I had 2 full years of work experience. So I decided to print out my bank statement to be extra sure that should incase I’m asked to submit my first and last payslips for each job I can do that. So what I basically did was to make sure that I could see the bank credit alerts for the first month and last months for all my jobs. It was through this bank statement cross checking I now realized that I couldn’t find the bank credit alert for the last two months of my first job. So I decided to edit my first job in my EE profile (before getting ITA). what I did was, I looked at my bank statement and noted the last month where the credit alert came in and then put that month as the last month for my first job making my first job lesser than a year now. The new details after editing my profile is now: Job 1 (ten months) Job 2 (one year long) Job 3 ( nine months) Job 4 ( current job not up to a year) Meaning I have just one full year of work experience now. Now this is where everything started. After editing I noticed my score didn’t change it was still 472. I kept checking but the score didn’t change. I got worried then I spoke to my friends who were also in this pr process too so I decided to delete my entire work history and re-enter the details back which I did but my score didn’t change from that 472 it was still like that so I left it saying maybe it’s a glitch with ircc and that maybe with time it will change but it didn’t and now I got ITA I decided to fill the forms. When I got to personal history, I now noticed that the initial details I put was what automatically inputed in my personal history ( my first job still is dated one year as opposed to the 20months I edited it to before ITA) My questions now are: 1) which work experience duration do you think ircc has of my first job? 1 year or 10months? And what should my reference letter carry? 10 months or 1 year? 2) in the personal history section, is it safe and okay to edit somethings there? I noticed the start date of my current work is wrong. So I’m asking if it’s okay and won’t be an issue if I should edit it back to what I have on my EE profile. 3) so I got ITA through the healthcare draw and I claimed points for pharmacy assistant. someone was of the opinion that I put my pharmacy assistant reference letter to be one year long. I was now like but my EE doesn’t say one year. The person said it’s better that way and the worst that could happen is to get an ADR to explain why the dates are different. Do you think I should do that or just make EE profile and post ITA form the same date. Please help me!!! |

shila8: It 100% will IMO https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/672#131416221 If in your travel history you indicated that you arrived UK in Jan 2021 and left in Jan 2022 and I were a VO, I'd wonder why it isn't in your Personal Activities. If I'm mean I'll reject you right away for misrepresentation or incomplete docs (if you didn't submit UK PCC). If I'm kind I'll send you an ADR or procedural fairness letter to update your Personal Activities (hoping you'll add the UK). I think only an incompetent VO would miss it. Your one year stay in the UK should be updated in Personal History AND Travel History - if it was within the last 10 years....you'll also need a UK PCC. 3 Likes |

Blackshaid: SHORT ANSWER: Study page 1 LONG ANSWER: You can edit your profile post ITA provided the changes do not alter your CRS. Perhaps your score didn't change because your total work experience is 3 years or more (I may be wrong). Only your primary NOC needs to be 1 year continuous. Primary NOC does not mean first job. You should still be ok with this 1 year continuous and other short stints (if all your jobs add up to a minimum of 3 years in aggregate) and provided the healthcare NOC/job was done for 6 months minimum. Salary credits are not so critical IMO - people have used cash salary certificates - most important is that you actually did the job and were paid and can provide a reference letter from the employer with employment dates matching what is in your application that contains all that IRCC requires e.g. JD that matches NOC etc (see checklist on page 1 post 5). 5 Likes |

Thank you so much for your prompt response. I understand all you have said completely. The one I want to really confirm is the date on the reference letter - 1 year or 10months? I don’t want to submit documents that don’t match. Would you advice I edit my post ITA profile to match my 8months EE profile and provide reference for 8months? Or leave my Post ITSA profile as one year and provide reference letter for one year. Please just tell me the one to do based on your experience and what you feel is right My first job is what gave me ITA I believe Please help me once again🙏 |

Blackshaid: If your first job is the healthcare one - then the CBD requirement is for it to be at least 6 months and done within the last 3 years. From my understanding it does not need to be your primary NOC - but I have no personal experience here and I could be wrong. You can edit your application to whatever is the truth that will be confirmed in evidence by the ref letter from your employer. Missing salary payments can be easily explained if you were actually paid in another form (e.g. cash) and should not be the reason you change your employment dates IMO. Manually calculate your CRS based on these changes and ensure it remains above the CRS of the draw that got you ITA. 1 Like |

Good Afternoon. Please I need help! I have been working for my Canadian employer remotely since August this year, they like my work and would like me to come over. My team is made up of colleagues from different parts of the world and my boss helped them by providing an positive LMIA and he wants to do this for me as well if i want to. He can get me a positive LMIA as early as February and he is ok with me working remotely (like i said, he just wants to help). This company is in New Brunswick and I have a younger brother in Ontario i can stay with. My goal is to get a PR eventually, i understand that i will get a work visa upon entry, can i stay briefly and come back to Nigeria in a month or less since i can work from anywhere? I don't really want to leave Nigeria as my salary can go very far here. (Cost of living is minute here compared to Ontario and i save more) I need advise from anyone who has gotten a positive LMIA here please, what are the next steps, how can i go about this? |
