He finally slept with the girl and he was robbed alll his funds.
A friend from Nigeria had to send him money to enter the next bus to Cotonou and back to Lagos.

I dare say, this story is fiction I guess. The story teller is taking time to fix the plot.

God bless you real good for this advice. Yet the average Nigerian will never listen. If its not Europe or America, you're on a very long thing.

What about LATAM, Brasil,Chile , Mexico etc?

there's Boko haram, not just one person saying it or mentioning it. It's a common knowledge there. While on our way, someone showed us car blowned up by Boko haram.
I clearly explained the terrorism situation in Burkina Faso in my original post to you. I've got years of knowledge in intelligence analysis so you better believe what I tell you here. It's because you went to Burkina Faso [where MORE than HALF of that country is already under the control of the jihadi group "Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimeen" (JNIM)], that I took a special interest in your story. The MAJOR jihadi group in Burkina Faso is: The Group for the of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) OR in Arabic language it's known as Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM). This is a terrorist group BASED in Mali and active across much of West Africa, including parts of Burkina Faso and Niger Republic.

I will educate you (and others) more on this issue. "Boko Haram" is a denigrating OR insulting Hausa name for the Islamist terror group which is officially known as "Jama'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah ti wa'l-Jihad" a jihadist group that operates MAINLY in the Lake Chad Basin linking Borno State, Chad, Cameroon, Niger Republic. of this terror group HATE being called "Boko Haram" because that's NOT their official name!

"Terrorism in Burkina Faso"
Several different terrorist organizations have claimed responsibility for attacks in Burkina Faso. Most attacks are carried out by foreign-based organizations, d with Al-Qaeda, usually from neighboring Mali.
Source: Wikipedia

Burkina Faso is also experiencing violence from other armed groups, including:
1) Ansaroul Islam.
2) The Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS).
3) The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP).
4) The Group for the of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) OR in Arabic language it's known as Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM).

Those people who are WRONGLY telling you it's "Boko Haram" are NOT knowledgeable about what is going on, so, they just CARELESSLY use the term "Boko Haram" (which operates MAJORLY in the Lake Chad Basin of Borno State, parts of Chad, Niger and Cameroon) loosely to describe any attack that takes place in Burkina Faso. "Boko Haram" in Northern Nigeria are a completely different group from the jihadi groups such as "The Group for the of Islam and Muslims" (JNIM) which is operating in Burkina Faso and these groups are from the nearby Mali where there are up to 5 different jihadi groups fighting to take FULL control of the central military government in Mali.

As we speak, the jihadi terror groups have already moved into parts of Northern Benin Republic from nearby Burkina Faso and they are also penetrating Northern Ghana which they use for logistics as can be seen in the FIRST video BELOW just like they have penetrated Northern Cote d'Ivoire to kidnap people for ransom under the cover of mining. All these Northern parts of West Africa are in the Sahel region, so it's NOT just Northern Nigeria, Chad, and Niger Republic these different jihadi terror groups have been operating all these years but in nearly all the West African countries. At least 50 women were abducted by Islamic extremists in Burkina Faso’s northern Sahel region last week, a local official said Monday.

The kidnappings occurred January 12 and 13, 2023 approximately 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the town of Arbinda in Soum province, Lt. Col. P.F. Rodolphe Sorgho, the governor of Sahel, said in a statement.

The women were kidnapped while in the countryside gathering wild fruit, he said.

Jihadi violence linked to al-Qaeda and the Islamic State group has overrun Burkina Faso, killing thousands and displacing nearly 2 million people in the West African nation. The failure of successive governments to stop the fighting has caused widespread discontent and triggered two military coups in 2022, the second against the first military regime to seize power.

Our taxi maneuver several pot holes and untared dusty roads to get us to our final destination. On our way, I fed my eyes with disappointment, the more we approach the lodge I felt irritated that I left a better country like Nigeria to be here in this borno starter kit. Sorry to say, this particular place looks like where the WW2 ended. I will Share an aerial view on it.

When we finally arrived, I paid the taxi guy 5,000 CFA, which was funny because you came to pick me with a taxi and brought others with you,I still had to pay? I thought of that.

As I approach the door, I was greeted with elderly men sitting outside with their faded skin, destroyed by the harsh weather looking malnourished. To my self, so the dollar no fit maintain them? I said to myself. I greeted them, they all welcomed me.

Neche my benefactor, took my bag in asked me to take off my dirty clothes for laundry, she prepared water for me to bath and said food will be ready for me to eat. This particular pattern is the honeymoon phase, in later time, I see who ever brings in a candidate from Nigeria, treats them same way until the money is taken from you.

The lodge is a 2 bedroom apartment, with almost 30 people, mostly elderly men in their 40s and early 50s, lying on the parlour floor with mats. The other bedroom is for new recruits that's the new candidates. The difference between the bed and mat is an inch.

The second phase is for my benefactor to keep me company all through and make sure I send the money. After taking my bath and eaten, she sent me an number to pay the money. I told her to wait, I will do that later. I have to call my friends and family I have arrived because they were all worried.

The first picture is the apartment, exactly where the arrow is pointed, I was able to get the exact location through Google Earth.

After ing family and friends, they asked me how's the place, I just said it's cold and I will definitely settle fine. Neche was sitting adjacent to me all along, she kept asking, have you sent the money? I said not yet, I will do that tomorrow. She replied, babe you need to send the money because Tomorrow is your documentation and interview. This time around I just nodded and continued pressing my phone.

Not long, one of the men opened the door and signalled Neche, she stood up immediately, I assume the discussion was why hasn't this maga sent the money yet. She came in , "babe try and send the money this night, we will be leaving very early in the morning. I said no problem.

It's 1:am I couldn't sleep, I was wondering what will happen because this guys mean business and they won't rest until that money leaves my . At intervals the room door keeps opening and they will look around and go back. Just like checking up on your victim. They knew I wasn't sleeping. So they asked neche to me. Neche came in and asked why wasn't I sleeping? I told her, I don't sleep like that. She lay beside me, while I kept pressing my phone until somehow I dozed off.

It's Saturday my 5th day away from Nigeria, I woke up with a clap and worship songs emanating from the parlor. They were observing their morning devotion. Neche woke up and first thing that came out from her mouth was, prepare we will leave early, please send the money so they will start documenting. I asked, can't they do the documentation when I get there? Why is the money so important? She replied, I just want us to be fast, other people are coming in today. My jaw dropped, other people? This job must be really hot cake.

While I was dres for the documentation and interview, a tall, big lip man walked in, he introduced himself has Mr ola, he will accompany us to the so called company, I introduce myself also. He assured me, the interview is not much of a huddle that it's more like an interactive session.

I got set and took my PC bag, they were already waiting for me. So Mr ola asked, have you made the payment? I said I will do that right away. He said do it first before we start going because if we don't they won't let us in.

While they were sleeping, I already split the money, I sent 1.5millon to my fiance's , sent 500k to my chipper cash, sent 500k to my UBA and was left with 245k in my access bank. I texted my girl, told her about the situation and instructed her on no she she should send money to anyone except she hears my voice. She was panicking and thought I was being kidnapped, I told her I'm just trying to be security conscious.

So when I tried, it will show transaction failed due to insufficient balance, I told her I needed to transfer from my savings and limit is 500k per day, she should pay on my behalf, I will send the money once I transfer from me savings. I teased her, you earn in dollars, you can help me, she said okay let me ask my supervisor. She went in, stayed for almost 20mins came back and said, since you can't transfer all today, we will reschedule you for Monday.

We all went in, after about an hour, a slim dark young Man came in, we shaked and he introduced himself as Emma, he's the only young guy I've seen in the lodge.

Their third phase is trying to create an illusion where they made millions and Emma was the right person to use because he's using an iPhone 13 pro Max. Then Mr Ola walked in and they started talking about buying cars just to make me believe they had made a fortune for themselves. I just had to flow along to see how stupid they could go.

The next day Sunday, three more candidates came in from Nigeria, this time around one of them benefactor, took her time, made fruit salad and concoction jollof rice, but they will always give excuse "it's how Burkina Faso jollof rice is". One of them started making calls to Nigeria, "tell director I'm not coming back, i don't need to resign officially, I've left the country, why would I stay in a job that pays 180k every month" I was shocked and ☹️ disappointed but that's none of my business.

As for the other two, they look like guys who probably sold their inheritance to be in Burkina Faso, their igbotic English was very poor and they seem lost in Nigeria, I wonder 🤔 what they will be in Burkina Faso. Without wasting time, the three of them sent their 1.5 million each to their benefactor. I wonder why was mine 1.7 million. When each of them confirm the transfer, I was crying inside of me because the way I see it, there's no return journey for them. They have tied their life. Their going back to Nigeria rely on recruiting people from Nigeria, same way they were deceived.

They seem excited about the opportunity they have embarked on, they all looked hypnotized. I believe this guys involved some little dark magic or their psychology prowess is top notch. I was still holding up on my last card to be dropped the next day.

The night before Monday, was the most terrifying night of my life, I think they knew I found out about the plot. I seem to be giving excuses for not sending the money, the three other guys paid without delay but me. Each time I go out and come in, I feel they might ambush me. I became paranoid. I couldn't wait for Monday so I can orchestrate my escape because my honeymoon has already ended and neche started calling me by name not babe again. 😂 😂 😆

Black magic doesn't work, some of them involve themselves in it out of ignorance. Being a fraudster requires one to be psychological and philosophical inclined.

All through the night I couldn't sleep, I dare not press my phone, their movement was suspicious, I became more paranoid and unsettled, counting hours and minutes. The night seem slow. Each interval they switch watch, they can't leave us without being watched by the old goons.

Morning finally came, I survived the terrified night I said to myself, I wasn't asked how was your morning, let's go drink tea and all those sweet honeymoon vibes. One after the other, the new guys started preparing for their fake interview, God knows what shock awaits them. They all left, it was remaining me. Neche came in and asked again, have you transferred the money? I said my sister will do that, she wants to confirm the venue first I boldly told her. She said "okay, prepare let's go".

I was prepared, I took my PC and hid some extra clothes should Incase I'm running from there. My travelling bags were still in the room. As I was approaching the exit door, neche supervisor, her name is favor, called me from behind, "are you ready already? Why are you carrying school bag, it's just an interview, why not drop the bag." I responded, it's my PC, I love walking with it Incase I need to do something important. She said "okay oh, but it will be heavy for you".
So I finally exited the building and was outside the gate.

I was waiting for neche, so I messaged her, all this lady was saying, send the money. When she finally came out, I asked her why are you so interested in the money than the job? She responded with anger, "that's how it's done, without the money, no interview. I responded so if I don't get the money my journey here is wasted? She said "Na so na" mehnnn I was boiling inside. See small girl wey one scam me still dey vex for me , i said to myself.

While we were talking, Mr Ola ran in like a rabies dog, and walked up to me "I heard you haven't made the payment, what's wrong?" I told him straight to his face, I can't make payment until I get to the company. He said okay and left.

Meanwhile for me to finalize my plans, I need airtime and Data, I told neche to fund me airtime 2k CFA, I want to call my sister to send the money immediately we get to the office, she accepted all she wanted was the money. She got me the airtime while we were there, Mr Ola ed us so we can all move to the said company. NOTE (The money she use to fund the airtime was mine, she kinda seized it, the day I arrived at the house, I had to change naira to CFA, I changed 40k naira to 25k CFA, I paid the taxi guy 5,000 CFA and she held the money since then) as we were going, i asked for my balance, she gave me 15k CFA.

We have already walked almost 5 miles, when I called her, "Neche, I don't think I'm interested in this job anymore, i want to go back" i could see the shock and disappointment on her face, she couldn't believe what she heard. Mr Ola was trying to convince me, "the office is not far let's go so you hear what they have to say" I said I have seen enough. I instructed neche, if you know what's good for you, tell whoever that's in that house to bring my bags out. Failure to to that, I will involve the police. She immediately call her supervisor to bring my bag out but..........

I was at some point, I will feel like staying back. But something in me keeps fighting the urge. If I had nothing to fall back on, I will probably fall for it. Infact let me shock you, my water was always refilled, when I ever I drink the water, I feel a sense of comfort like I wanna stay, after sometime I get myself back. I stopped drinking the water, and always buy water from the kiosk. Sometimes they will jokingly ask me, you no dey drink water?
