There are no country specific coupons for Nigeria as you have for countries like US, Uk, Korea, etc.
Coupons available for Nigerian shoppers fall in the "Global category". So even as you are claiming that our purchasing power has reduced, it does not affect coupon availability as coupons are on "first come, first served" basis.

The nonsense has gone on for too long, the beauty and dynamics of shopping on AE back then, was the relative ease of getting stuffs, but right now is just hellish. After jumping through the hoops of high exchange rate ( which is not fault of theirs by the way), i still have to pay exorbitant shipping fee on feather weight items?. I just know they can find a convenient way around this, but just choose not to.

Scam? I don't think so o!
Here's why:

Firstly, I've had different combination of orders like that before whose payment didn't go through at first. When I later realized that all the items were no longer important, what I did was to select the ones I needed and then pay for it.

Also, on several occasions during sales time, I've had my payments declined with an option to submit appeal on the payment card (this is after coupons have already been applied on the orders). While the appeal process is ongoing, the items would've been moved to "unpaid items" corner. When the card is eventually cleared, going back to the items to re-effect the payments wouldn't be tagged a scam.There were also times I couldn't meet up with the payments of all the items. Then I pay for the pressing onesamongst them.

Besides, We all know that each item in the unpaid list is given time limit within which payment is to be made before the order is deemed to have been closed. Therefore, the moment such payment is verified and then accepted by Aliexpress official shows that it is legit. Otherwise, they'd just reject it and issue a refund to buyer immediately.

For 38kg best to ship by sea except if it's very urgent or you don't mind spending the cash. Sea shipping usually takes 2-3 months barring unforseen circumstances and they'll charge by cubic meters and not weight

Even without coupons, what happens to the price slash of old? I genuinely don't understand why 11-11 prices are higher than July prices. These days I buy only things I can't get elsewhere. If I can, I don't hesitate to buy in Nigeria.

Sincerely , I don't rate their price slash promos as only a few stores actually have their prices slashed. Most times, their prices are even higher than ordinary days as some stores did this 11,11
For me, only coupons usually makes the difference between promo days and ordinary days. So, no coupon, no promo!

And for real, July /August prices are mostly better than 11.11 and Black Friday deals.
