Everyone needs something to act as an anchor when everything is spinning out of control. For him, that family.

My own fear is that his Mother In-law shouldn't that photo, else it's over for him.

Having a family is nowhere near his biggest mistake.

He's been making loads of mistakes since the last job ended.

1. He should never meet a client face to face, no matter the amount, much less let them know where he is staying...

2. He had no reason to perform the revenge kill from close range. That's way too much risk just to send his message. He could have done it long range.

3. His plan for his latest assassination is a close range kill which again puts him at severe risk

4. Meeting Norman face to face was a severe risk. Even living with him for a day. Yes he needed the gun since Norman was injured and Norman couldn't make one by himself, but certainly Norman would have 1 or 2 s he could call...

5. Having all that secret room in his family house. It was bound to be discovered someday. He could have gotten a ranch or building somewhere to keep those.

He's a professional but he has taken way too much risk with this job and he has had his face revealed to quite a number of people.

Considering he was a member of the army, his face is in the database so he should never have revealed his face on any .

He's been in disguise most of the time he meets other people No?.

The Norman Stoke character is presented as a loner, and possess a that unique particular skill of making bespoke guns, and i doubt the Jackal would have found anyone to make his gun, giving the timeframe of the job delivery, so that whole scene going to help him, is very plausible.

Him having a wife, and a whole family, is where i fault, doesn't look too water tight in of writing, but i need to see the whole show, to get the hang of that, but the "secret room" was just full of props for his disguises, no guns, no ammo...., sure a secret room raises questions, but again he can plausible deny, and just give a random explanation which i think he has already done.

Not just assassins, spies too, they make easy targets. M in James Bond once said "orphans make the best recruits". Atleast we can see she's so very right.

Someone with nothing to lose is very difficult to kill.

Hence, assassin having family is his downfall

It has been awhile any series had me up overnight wanting to see what happens next.

I never knew DC has a large black population , I initially thought the show was set in Chicago or Atlanta cos the show is predominantly black. It's been awhile I saw a show majorly black that isn't drugs related, so took awhile to .

I have never liked Aldis Hodge or any project he stars cos I feel he always does too much in my opinion. But every cast member did there part exceptionally.

Minor issue I have with the script, that FBI agent was too free, like she almost turned PA between Alex Cross and his partner Sampson. You be FBI agent, you suppose get your own assignment and not freaking on call at all times.

Also, you had your suspect, you pointing at him, and you allowed him to inject himself? Person wey you shoot for hand, let him face justice, you actually allowed him to inject himself? In the book, it could have set up for dramatic effect, but as an ardent series watcher, I already knew were they were going with it.

As for the story itself, it is good, still have one episode to go. Powerful psychos are always difficult to pin down, always sleeping away like eels. Using people to shield themselves from every kind of penetration.

This dude so much like Jonathan Majors only he is short.

It would be a wasted plot point imo.

Him being brought back for no reason and then proceeding to die in what? 2-3 episodes?

At least that's what I think. It would feel like a waste of time to me and an emotional gimmick if he just dies like that...

I don't really see what makes Vander so important but I'll let the writers finish cooking...

He's been the best test subject for Shimmer so far and he's powerful, but not so powerful that he alone could change the tide of a war. So I'm yet to really see why they want him so much.

But perhaps the potential to what can be done on future tests through him?

I would be disappointed if he just dies like that.
It would be a waste of time imo if he's brought back and dies in like 2-3 episodes with no real direct implications to the plot...

Or perhaps the intention was to use the arc to reconnect characters who had lost their way i.e VI and Jinx...VI and Caitlyn...

Otherwise he hasn't really served much for the overall plot. But let's see what the writers have in store for us in the 3rd act

Anyway the music used at the end of episode 6 was top notch...

Overall writing of season 2 has been a massive step down from season 1, but the music quality has not dropped at all. It has probably improved if anything...

Isha never backing down from a fight or giving up and surrendering easily is such an understated trait of her character.

Cos how do you see Rictus and your first thought is to jump on his head 😂🤣

Reflexes are primarily defensive in nature to evade attacks. She also move around at lightning speed when on the attack.

I know what I am talking about.

This was such a great scene. Jinx, as well as the audience, realizing what she meant to the people of the Zaun.

Lightning speed has to be an exaggeration, my guy. Otherwise Episode 6 would've ended differently.

The fact that she only uses her Shimmer abilities during fights is why I opted to use "heightened reflexes" to qualify it. Outside of fights, we don't really see her move much faster than the average person.

So let's say she has heightened fight speed

Because how are they going to tie up so many loose plot threads in just 3 episodes since they said they won't be a third season
