60 shops built for 2.5 million people

It’s a publicity stunt.

A serious effort would be more comprehensive and strategic, by making targets for the building of say 5,000 free shops by 2026 etc, than this piecemeal thing.

Yes. We have resources than them.

Ask your brothers who are there.
They built their local government on trust and transparency.
We build our own on deceitful acts, corrûptïon.

I pray you get a visa and travel to common Bulgaria or Azerbaijan and still come here to argue.
At least you would be happy to compare Azerbaijan with Nigeria.

You are part of the reasons Nigeria has not moved forward. You still see nothing wrong in those shops.

Shops that are lesser than 200 meters (2 plots of land). Have you not seen good shopping mall in Awka built by common people that are not in government?
Who told you they don’t sell ugwu and bonga fish inside big mall?

Na part of the see finish wey I talk be that. Soludo don see your mama and papa dem finish say dem poor and dem no deserve more than those sun sheds he built for them.

Can his wife sell anything in that kind of shop?
My brother, use your sense.

Don’t take whatever your governors throw at you. It’s your commonwealth they are sitting on.
You are the ones that put them there. You deserve the best. They are stēãlïng billions while you are there defending them on social media because you no wan make people see your dirty linen for outside.

Dey there dey defend nons.ense o. You go soon know how far.

Go and sit down with your unknowledgeable comment. People like you rush to comment without properly reading and understanding what you are talking about.

Maybe the same your mama and papa wasted resources in sending you to school, to acquire such limited knowledge as you have showed here.

What's wrong with a governor commissioning a project started and completed by him for the benefit of the same citizens who voted for him? Did you not read the word "FREE" while describing the shops? Where would you find such in your much described Vienna, Azerbaijan, etc. Which local government or state government in Nigeria has done such an act? When fellows like you hear Anambra state, you go mad and begin to make worthless comparisons. If such projects serve to promote trade and growth in the society and the people are happy, what's your business?

Are the shopping malls in Awka built and given away to the citizens for free? What's your business with the size of the structure? If it serves the needs of the people, how does it take away the sleep of your mama and papa? Is that the only people oriented ongoing project in the state? If you do not have real information about developments in the state or any other state in Nigeria, why not ask from those who are updated? How can you compare this free government funded project with privately owned shopping malls in Awka?

Maybe your life's journey has limited you to Azerbaijan and Bulgaria. Someday you will be telling us about Sudan and Eritrea. If you fellows vote for corrupt leaders in Nigeria, that's your business. We want leaders only who can maximize the resources within their possession to deliver decent infrastructures that make life easy and worth living for the citizens. If Soludo is doing that, like other governors who are getting appreciated, then see it through those lenses and let them do the right things that they are appointed to do.

What do you expect fruit shops to be like? Glass houses? Go to Asaba, Delta State and find the fruit shops designed as bus stops. Mr. Been To, if you have are lucky to visit the USA, Europe or certain better Asian countries, you'd not find any difference with their stalls and what Soludo has build and handed out for free to the citizens.

Go and read the post again. It was given to the citizens free of charge, as compensation for their shops that were removed to make way for the road construction linking Agulu to Ekwulobia and Uga. It was the duty of the governor to apologise once again and hand over their shops to them. They all were very happy, appreciative and that's what matters now.

I don’t have problem with him commissioning it and I never said this in any of my comments under this thread.

What I have problem with is the type of amadioha shrine he is building for his people.

Since you have confirmed you are ok with it, you have shown me the kind of brain you have.

No need reading every other jargon in your comment.

Enjoy your solution while it lasts.

So a local government chairman should commission a project initiated and completed by the state governor, with resources from the state purse?

By the way, if asked, can you tell people the name of either your councillor or local government chairman, since you want to be their emergency advocate?

I guess to you, everything means politics, right? Your politicians steal your generation and that of your unborn children's wealth and build gutters and shops for you all to celebrate. Continue, you really deserve what you're getting.

At this stage of your life, concentrate on developing good communication skills and rules. That is the only way your audience may agree with your views on issues.

Next time, use the word "has".

Also, "imaged" has no place in this context. It is "emerged".

Hope you have learnt something new.

Bye and God bless.
Look at an ant that thinks itself an elephant. What do you know about English literacy and grammar? Look at the emboldened carefully. The gibberish you spewed there can only serve as incoherent clauses with no obvious meanings. Your grammar is abysmally poor and to think that you mustered the courage to correct another really beats my imagination.

I have lived my life all in Anambra while I travelled to other parts of Nigeria for short visits. What you just said is the gospel. Anybody that says PO is not a material for presidency may have interior motive. No matter whom the person is. Soludo is still learning work and I am highly disappointed in him. I had expected much more from him.

Maybe you are so young and inexperienced about the evolution of the country. I am one of those who crave for a decent and liveable country. I vote for leaders who can make societies better for us.

Hmmm, how more hilarious can you be, bro?
First, you made a silly goof by thinking I was engaging you in a political war, who get time for that one? That you applauded the governor for commissioning lock up shops shows how low your understanding about governance and responsibilities are.
Secondly, you inferred I'm young and inexperienced, do I need to school you on that too, nah, ain't got time for that. Anyways, enjoy the gutters and shops.
