My TTC journey

I got married in 2009 with my hubby diagnosed of azoospermia (no sperm count) in 2011 when we went for medical checkup. We were devasted and decided to seek God's face cos it came as a shock to both of us. Exactly, one year afterwards we decided to revisit the case, the result still remained the same. Afterwards, we decided to seek for medical advisory ofcourse our options obviously was limited ivf, donor sperm or adoption no treatment was recommended due to the nature of case.

GOD stood by us and we started the journey, DH was then scheduled for a diagnostic TESA and the result came out positive.

For all I give glory to God.

I pray that the Almighty God will visit all of us and meet all our needs. I have confidence that He will perfect all he has started in our lives in Jesus name

I noticed this mild pain at the right side of my scrotum where it s with my thighs sometimes it goes to my my left and to both of my thighs and legs, did an x-ray which says am okay and scrotal scan says I have Moderate varicocele and hydrocele was referred to a urologist who further examined me and said the varicocele is very very mild and not worth doing a surgery for at all . He said I should work on my weight, I weigh about 100kg+ that the pain, the moderate varicocele and hydrocele would ease off and go on its own as I gradually reduce my weight.

Anyone with similar experience like this

Good morning mamas, how's everybody holding up? Pls I need some advices - initially I waited for 7years before I got BFP & delivered last year. I treated high prolactin & did laparoscopy & hyteroscopy to removed adhesion. I've been trying for baby no2 since January yet nothing cam Tru. I delivered via CS so couldn't do sit batz but for the past 3months now I noticed I spot during my ovulation (somtimes on ovulation day, somtimes 2days to ovulation) the blood will come lik a stain & go. My baby is 1½yrs & im no longer breastfeeding. I've never experienced this during the ttc period then so I don't know could it be that I still have retained blood because I cudnt do sit batz? What can I do to speed up conception because it's not easy going Tru all over again. I'm on folic acid & carbagolin because of my previous record of adhesion & my period is regular . Pls help a sister biko. Thnx

USE carbagolin, its very effective. That's what helped me. A friend of mine was diagnosed of high prolactin 135, she used carbagolin ND she's 3months pregnant now. If u can endure the side effects you'll smile.

Good afternoon, I've been off Nairaland for a while.

I can't say the exact one that worked but over the course of 2020 to 2022 January when I discovered I was pregnant.
I have done the following:

1. I went to a good lab to do ultrasound scan, HVS, HSG, urinalysis. I don't know if the HSG was necessary but the technician said there was a small blockage in one fallopian tube and the HSG opened it.

2. I met a nurse in a hospital that treated me, after the annoying shabby treatment in the hospital she worked, she told me to do another HVS test, the test showed the injections to use, then they were these expensive Switzerland ceftriaxone(forgotten the popular brand name) antibiotics injections, she mixed with some normal injections on the test results, she gave me antibiotics drugs too. We did that for 1 week of injections straight. We rest for one or two weeks, but was still using the drugs, no sexual to prevent reinfection.
After the rest, we started the treatment all over again for another one week, I think after resting, we did another one a month later.

3. I rested for like a month, did combo (garlic, ginger, alligator pepper, etc, soak it with ijaw dry gin), soaked for like two weeks and started taking a shot morning and night.
My body could not cope again but I already saw that all the injections and local treatment has worked but I want them to work above 100%. I did combo for partner then too but didn't add booni to his own combo cos fertile corner said it's not good for men.
I did another local treatment, I've forgotten but if you check my name, I documented everything on this page.

4. I usually take fruits to work and still buy when going home.

5. Few weeks to wedding, we went for another treatment and my hubby was treated with injections too.


6. We waited till wedding day before sex cos of the treatment.
Saw period like a week after wedding, then 1 month after wedding too, but by the time time wedding clocked two months I didn't see my period.
On confirming I saw that I was pregnant.
After giving birth, immediately my period came in the fifth month, i realized I was pregnant in the 6th month.
I now have two babies and on family planning.

I will suggest you treat the infection or whatever it is from the root.
Give yourself 6 months to fully deal with it.
If you don't have infection, your body will tell you, there's no infection, but if you have it will keep disturbing.

3cm Fibroid found on the upper part of the womb but outside the womb.
Womb appears tilted towards the back and not forward (anteverted) . It could be possibly because of the position of fibroid .
I will advise her to look out for those local ijaw ladies that reposition uterus

Has any used nordica fertility clinic abuja for ivf. What was ur experience

I have been taking addyzoa, Vit E, Vit C and zinc supplement to treat low sperm count, low motility and bad morphology. When I started addyzoa a month ago, sperm count was 16.6 million,progressive motility was 35%,non motile was 42%, normal morphology was 23%, abnormal was 72%.

Now after 1 month of taking addyzoa,Vit E, Vit C and zinc supplement, sperm count is 30 million, progressive motility is 15%, non motile is 60%, normal morphology is 4% while abnormal is 96%.

I am still taking addyzoa, vit E, vit C and zinc supplement to continue to improve sperm count but I need suggestions on how to rapidly boost the motility and morphology.

I will really appreciate any advice given.

Look for NAC or Ubiquinol.
Expensive but that's what you need.
Rule out infection too before using either of them
Give you body atleast 60days to see the real benefit of what you are taking. New cells mature between 45day -60days
