Initial plan was to buy a Redminote 13pro5G/ Samsung A55, but the quoted prices i see here on NLdey stress, even though the AliExpress prices are better but customs wahala dey fear me too

My Ogas in the house kindly recommend 3 phones that can enter my budget with at least Dualsim, 5000mAhBattery, 6gbram/256gb rom.

I prefer brand new devices, but i am open to suggestions/ Advice. I may sell/swap my Redmi Note 11Pro 5g when a possible deal is gotten.

Trading a dual sim 5G with great everything just because of extra storage is quite a challenge at this time. If i slap a 128gb sd card problem is solved but dual sim is gone..

With my 350-420k budget sef.. Tilumbu is doing quite well for our economy sha..

I'm looking for something mostly on the performance and battery side, being able to run multiple apps without breaking a sweat. A sleek design wouldn't be bad too. Camera and gaming capabilities would just be add-ons for me

And I also have note 10 inside my Waldrop , it just went off whole being charging , they said I need new mother board, I just kept it for more than 3years, I don't know of o can retrieve my photos from the phone.

Isn't it a battery fault? Mine kept doing the same and no longer comes up without being plugged in. It doesn't even boot and stays on when plugged in. Just keeps rebooting endlessly. I am currently waiting for a battery replacement but with your post above, it appears I may be wrong.

UPDATE:
So I got the replacement battery yesterday and gave it to a technician to install for me. The phone (Redmi Note 9s) came on and hasn't rebooted since. It looks to have solved the issue.

How many total?

And how good are they? Any major downside/issues?

So that one would know if to stay on the original factory OS version ot which version specifically, if all the other newer updates are bad or have any major flaws/issues.

I get updates every month.

I won't get into a drab argument from the past on wether you should update your device on not.

I've been using my redmi note 9s for close to 4 years now. I'm planning to a flagship device next month. So I'm contemplating on which of the xiaomi flagship i could get for a budget of 500k. Though Samsung 22+ is the one I'm currently eyeing. Please your suggestion will be highly welcome.

I'm beginning to think durability of phones depends on individual usage, cos it makes me wonder if it's thesame note 10 I'm using or yours is different. Bought mine May 2021 and everything still works flawless till date like when i bought it.

I am always careful with my phones, I am not a rough , I do use phones without pouch and glass protector and nothing would happened to the phone except my wife's phone

Chill baba! As soon as several android phone manufacturers saw that iPhone rear camera design, they copied and put a caricature of it in their budget devices mostly. It's not just transsion devices, it's everywhere except Samsung, Huawei, Google and Sony. Xiaomi isn't innocent too except you wanna be biased. That one should not stop you from buying a beast like the Poco f6. Buy it and enjoy yourself. If you want people to see that it's a Poco device then use it with a transparent pouch

Mehn, times have really changed.

I buying my Redmi 5 for 45k sometime in 2018. I enjoyed every bit of it until I lost it to some attack one night.

But today, 250k cannot even get me a good Redmi device (@ least going by some of the reviews I see on gsm arena). It is either it is lagging, overheats, blurry camera, poor resolution or something else.

I'm not looking for an iPhone 16 feature in a 250k phone by the way, but one needs to consider those reviews sha
