Regulating fuel price and petrol stations' commercial activities is saddled with the Federal Government.

NMDPRA perhaps has failed in monitoring this state. The State has taken laws into its hands and gone against the constitution as a matter of fact. But then what do you do? Watch your people suffer the antics of greedy commercial enterprises that themselves do not obey the law? The principle of greater common/public good then comes in, in of the State Government, if their actions are honest and sincere.

Licensed Private petrol stations do not adjust their meters. It is the Managers of those stations that do that for their own benefit.
That is why the government needs to have it stations that they can regulate and ensure availability of products at all times so that commuters can have options and avoid stations with fraudulent management. When more of the fraudulent stations are pushed out of business, others will behave.
