This man wants to reduce the population of Nigerians through cng. Have you wondered why it was not successful in Europe? In the 80, 90, early 2000s most European cars had gas tanks fitted in their booths. All of a sudden it disappeared, why? That is what one should ask. Anyway, i will not be installing locally in any of my vehicles, maybe a toks that comes with one will be considered. I will not use my own hand to put bomb inside my vehicle. Have you seen those things explode? It is like nuclear bomb. Lol. Imagine the substandard China cylinders, our hot weather, ed with installation by naija "kamorus" that out of 6 bolts will tie 3 and say the others don't matter. I see a recipe for desaster. 2 Likes |

tundegan: How many cars do you import into Nigeria you see using CGN, they want to use Nigeria as a test country for the mass use of CGN, and just last week we had an explosion from a fake CGN tank. Since we do not comply to industry standards we will have lots of booms moving around. 1 Like |

tundegan:so what you and the president is saying that majority of Nigerians should go ahead to convert all of their vehicles to handle CNG. All our toyotas ,hondas, our mercedes benz, bmws, luxus vehicles etc should be converted with CNG kits just because our economy has become shambolic. Can all of these engines run with CNG fuel sustainably? What spec of hydrocarbon are the engines of these vehicles designed to handle? How about space constraint issues? Public and personal safety risk concerns.. ? The government is trying to force CNG down our throats without answering all of these questions.. Can the presidents fleet of expensive cars run on CNG reliably? 1 Like |

CNG might be cheaper. But it'll be necessary to mitigate the contingent risks that come with its usage.

Tayorshd87: Today they are telling you to buy at 200, have you also ask yourself for how long will it remain so and who will make it remain so? Why has the Presidential fleet of cars and that of PBAT and VP Shettima and that of all the National Assembly , Federal Ministers, all Federal Permanent Secretaries and Directors, the NSA, etc, etc, etc made to be using CNG? |

So Nigerians will use CNG to cook shey. The power sector is more or less dead, Most Nigerians use petrol to power their generator sets to at least make themselves comfortable- we can't let Nigeria problem kill our joy. The CNG can't power the entire fleet of vehicles in the country, so we will still end up buying petrol/ diesel.Morever, the political class from Presidency to local government aren't using CNG ,instead exotic cars proudly powered by petrol. Our government should think and strategize how to make petrol a bit affordable for Nigerians. The so-called comparison of cost of energy/petrol with other countries is Yaba left comparison. The indices of welfare in those countries are far better than Nigeria's stats. Hardship shouldn't be use to force Nigerians to accept CNG to power their cars. The transition should be gradual and should be an ENERGY MIX. To be sincere, the pains Nigerians are ing through is bone breaking. But it seems our resilience quotient is follow-come. |
