To even think CNG is 8 8times less likely to explode is what amaze me that people don't know..cng is very light so unlike cooked gas that is heavy and when it leaks tends to saturate around the environment and can trigger explosion quickly, CNG quickly disperses so even if it leak which of course shouldn't if done well, it will disperse so fast before it can trigger an explosion .If petrol doesn't explode even with the climate and its properly protected come on!!!

Your fears are unfounded brother. Petrol is just as inflammable. If the fire burning in your engine doesn't cause car to explode despite petrol being literally just 1m away, then you shouldn't have such fear for gas[/quote]

Nigerians should embrace CNG and let the market dictate the price of petrol.

Tinubu is doing the right thing by giving Nigerians the option and letting them know the alternative.

There is no where in the world that CNG is forced down the throats of the people. We dont produce cars, the CNG is not available every where. The conversion cost money. What about safety? Those who manufacture cars make sure it is safe, What are the safety tests done for CNG conversion? How can a president jump into something without asking real automobile engineers the pros and cons.

When we were about to elect this president, i told who cared to listen that this man is stubborn, what i thought are the positives of his kind of person turn out to be true but for the wrong direction he has taken. He did not become president to make Nigeria better or save Nigerians. He is there to make money. Government has no place in dictating communities. Rice is over 100k a bag, he should tell Nigerians to stop eating rice and embrace corn since its the cheapest.

I will now tell you what will become of him. His government will surely be a failure at the end. He will neither save money for govt as he plans to and has already achieved the impoverishment of Nigerians. The economy will be irrecoverable without any savings of money or any decent infrastructure or economic gains.

As far as Tinubu's Nigeria is concern, RIP to Dangote Refinery!

Only aggressive exportation to other countries can safe Dangote Refinery the way things are going as some very powerful forces in and outside Nigeria are bent on frustrating the hell out of them

Dangote simply wanted to Fubara the oil cabal... The Cabals are fighting back.

Safety concerns imagine highway robbers are in pursuit of vehicles to rob, they will rather focus on the car powered by CNG. CNG cars have terrible acceleration. This is why DSS will never allow any senior government officials to use cars powered by CNG.

PBAT is very much unserious and not in tune with economic realities. He even lacks understanding of a working economy and how to go about it. Many of those around him don't know otherwise.
If this is how PBAT will be effing up may he and his family and many of those in his nisration and cabinet not happen to Nigeria come 2027 elections.

I will volunteer myself as a unit poll agent to any political party that will bring a presidential aspirant and running mate that will be able to kick him out of Aso Rock and also kick his likes out of the National Assembly.
We the masses have to start recalling home some of these notorious Senators for doing nothing significant.

Look at him. Will CNG remain 200naira? By the time many nigerians switch over now what happened to cooking gás will start happening to CNG. Cooking gas was about 600naira) kg when the drug lord took over. They deceived nigerians to switch their generators to cooking gas then boom!! The price started galloping and today it 1500naira/kg.
They keep using the same formula to deceive nigerians and they keep falling for it.
