Police warns POS operators after lady arrested for receiving N4m ransom from kidnappers with a profit of N40,000 as charges ![]() Take a listen!!! #wetindeyhappentv https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBwOv0Hoy5A My message to POS operators, transaction above 500k can get you into trouble. Dont be a tool for kidnappers to collect ransom. It must be traced to you. She received #4,000,000 ransom from kidnappers and her profit was just #40,000. Can you imagine? Be wise, you may argue that you are doing busines, but before your lawyer will get you out, you may spend sometime cooling off in prison. https://x.com/Brightgoldenboy/status/1846825511697191402?t=ZhNqxjsYh9dOTBJBx4eClQ&s=19 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Its obvious NPF don’t have conscience…. Instead of looking for a creative way to go after the kidnappers , they are going after who will give them bail money…. Nigeria police and NNPC are the biggest problems in this country 38 Likes |

The policeman is being civil. May God help this lady. Any case involving kidnapping is a very serious case similar to armed robbery and drug deal.

What you should do is advise them to tip you if a customer wants to receive such amount. Or at least require the POS attendants to have the customer fill some form if receiving above 500k as you instructed. Then, leave the POS guy to return to his business because he didn't commit any crime. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Addme: POS makes no sense in our country where kidnapping and various terrorists acts have become the order of the day. POS businesses must be at least suspended by CBN. |

Bendeco02: No. She’s going to jail. Her minimum requirement is to get those who she withdrew the money for. I can imagine the laugh on her face when she was blocking ATM machines, inconveniencing genuine citizens from using the machines. She probably used 30 different cards to cash the sum, looking at herself as the latest CBN. 3 Likes |
