I'm using it, and my lowest monthly usage is 4TB...
Though I'm not the only one using it. I didn't it, since it's unlimited, why not let others connect?
Last month was 6TB, while I resubscribe on the 19th of August (4 days ago) and it's already at 460+GB

😅 Sharing is caring (as long as it's not slowing it down and you are cool with it).

Digitally, you guys have already japa.

If that one is too complex sef you can make money 💰 if you know football. Surebet, very sure bet.
You just have to stake 100 naira on 1.10 odds 3 times daily.

One in the morning
One in the afternoon
One at night

If you do this for one month (30 days) you'll make over 500,000 naira a month. Cool money and Nigeria economy will not affect you.
It'll translate to 90 times of playing 1.10 odds on sportybet

If you start with 200 naira your cashout will be multiplied by 2. i.e 1 million plus every month
If you start with 1k you'll be making 5million naira monthly. Life is not too hard na we no dey think far like dat and spiritual warfare too plenty for Africa
I know many people in Lekki who do this, dem nor get work and dem dey fresh. People go think say dem be Yahoo boy but na lie. Dem dey even ball for club Yahoo boys.Imagine cashing out 50 million naira monthly with 10k investment dem go fit spend 5 million one night for club sef. No be every young boy wey dey drive benz dey baff soap o grace dey

power of compounding

Well, it often slows down a bit, especially when it's has more than 80 devices connected, but even at that point it's still much more faster than some networks at their highest

Wo baba, you sabi ball oo. I had to upgrade my inverter system with almost 400k after I bought Starlink to keep it running 24/7 without interruption. To share it with neigbors, a router of 120k. When it came to broadcasting to four house, Ubiquity said 230k for each access point mesh, i just disembarked jeje.

If I didnt have an existing system, I would have had to spend money on solar s, weather-proof solar cables, charge controller, batteries and inverter. running into minimum of 1.5m.

If you dont have steady power supply or plan to buy inverter or have a solar system, Starlink is not for you as power availability will speedily become a major headache for you

Welcome on board, the natural progression post starlink is an inverter setup...your go hear am grin

Lol, smart, that's what I'm doing myself...got the router when it was around 65K, one of my neighbors is a network engineer, so he helped with the networking...charge my neighbors 30K per month for Internet Access, plus what I save on fuel, the setup saves me like 60K per month, not to mention the cost of round the clock electricity and unlimited internet for the FAM.

Initial cost is heavy, but given the massive increase in quality of life, it's a solid investment.

This guy, I barely cross 1TB on my starlink, always 800gig+ mostly cos I barely use it though

I need to DM you about something if you dont mind

I used 16TB last month. No throttling

You dig, leaving it powered 24/7 enabled me to make 35k monthly from charging 4 neigbours. I saved a lot in costs on internet, Cable TV sub, music streaming, and power costs. My only major spending is on electricity supply from Disco every 2months to simultaneuosly charge my batteries which will even go down during dry season when the sun is far better

People should do what works for them but dont downgrade Starlink with their 5G and mobility talks. Running this setup within a compound is cost-effective on a small-scale even for a 9-5 person like me. It becomes interesting knowing the endless possibilites it presents, imagine a setup for a street where people appreciate and need internet, you can even spend 500k to install Ubiquity Ubeams and Nanostations which travels for least of 5kms and charge s top money for it at a great ROI

Likeeee... I didn't even savings on cableTV, where I used to sub dstv compact to watch epl, I now rely on Internet, for free and all access.

It's the best investment I made in a while, and to think it all started from getting a starlink... I don't have s yet sef, but grid is decent enough to have uninterrupted power round the clock. What I'd look to do soon is maybe make the system smart so it switches to inverter as soon as batteries are full, then back to grid for recharge when the power on batteries drops up to a certain level.

Lol, if you now use Amazon Firestick and put it on steroids, you may not even smell sleep again

The intial cost looked like a monster but my mtn sub is now a measly max of 3.5k per month for when I am not home, it is the best invetsement for people who do mathematics, the setup can pay for itself in 2yrs if you have more s sef.

That's the next headache o, what I have done is to split Disco power to permanently power Refrigerator and a socket to plug in charger for the batteries. So, when I am not home, the Refrigerator and battery charger are powered by Disco supply if there is power supply.

On the reverse side, the inverter is powered on to the house and supplies Starlink when I am away allowing it to self-charge with power supply and solar (whichever is available). It is only when I return that I switch to Disco supply.

I can share my schematics with you.

Yea, I think I get your schematic...I did something similar myself (ACs run only on grid), but couldn't take the risk of disconnecting refrigerator permanently since I'm not fully off-grid (no s), so it's still safer leaving that option of powering refrigerator via inverter for when electricity is really poor and need keep refrigerator cool with small power from inverter...also I like some power from inverter spilling into refrigerator, even if for like an hour or two before I put the refrigerator off.

Don't know why I haven't explored Firestick (maybe cause I don't watch TV much these days)...but if it's not too expensive, maybe I can explore it for the fun...07031562o14...that's my number.

This exactly is the answer to the 5G v. Starlink argument.

Yes, Mtn and Airtel 5G can give out speeds of 150 to 250mbps but atbwhat cost? Starlink Standard plan fornthe same speed range is unlimited whereas for this 4TB you would have had to shell out close to 400k for MTN rather than 38k

This is the Schematic of my powerboard, an automatic changeover and a DC Circuit breaker needs to go in in the future.

Guys, we can also use this setup and modify it to do more. I am open to suggestions.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s awesome that Starlink gives you much faster speeds compared to Airtel. I can see how the power and location issues can be a hassle, though. If Starlink works well for you and you can afford it, it sounds like a great choice. Hopefully, more reliable and speedy options become available for everyone. Stay connected!

I am curious. Are you still getting those fantastic speeds as before? Starlink has been horrible here in Abuja for the past few weeks.

I have not been able to secure the Starlink kits and the price increase has affected me due to my Naira card.

My bank asked me to get a foreign currency card which will be difficult because I am holding expired port.

I have tried to open geepay but they are not sending sms otp.
