This one easy na.

I will give you an example. A man took a loan with family property from the bank. The property is owned by his father, who is late.

The man has the same name as his late father, so he filled the bank forms and took the loans with the help of the bank officials. When he defaulted on the loan, bank tried to claim the property and the family sued that it is family property.

The matter is still in court for over 5 years now.

It is impossible to obtain a loan from any bank in Nigeria with a third party house documents without his/her consent, they will first do tripartite agreement and the third party must sign and give his/her consent.

In this case maybe the woman obtained the loan from a loan shark,the man can go court and get back his house, since they didn't seek for his consent and he is sure that it is his name that is in the document.

Cos the bank or whoever granted her access to the loan are only interested in the originality of the collateral and not who owns it. Bad kids do this all the time. They steal their parents house documents and sell off the property

I think it's possible, why do you think people quickly lock doors to a deceased person's apartment and why it's possible for sons to sell their fathers properties without the man's knowledge. However, I think our judicial system need to educate us on the right of any individuals in possession of property documents, regardless their financial commitment in the property. I pity the innocent man

Our fathers were not lucky but they acted as men, we are now acting like women. It's very unfortunate. Just listing to the man, he made mention of her moving things out of the house gradually, that shows he got the signal but he didn't act, secondly it shows that the woman may have been putting up some stupid attitude but he kept ignoring her. In the days of our fathers, such nonsense attitude would have lead to her eviction from the house and get replaced immediately.

Selling a property and using a property as loan collateral are completely two different things.
I think you need to get sufficient knowledge of the two before ing the conversation.....

One of three things,

First, It is possible the man and his wife co-owned the property

Second possibility is the man might have signed off on the loan as a trustee with or without paying attention to what was placed before him

Third possibility is the man and his wife might own a business tly with the company ed as owner of the house. The wife wouldn't need his authority to use the property as loan in this case, depending on how the company operates.

The problem is you guys think many men that are married and have money are emotionally smart towards women.

The reality is many men are not that way and are just lucky they have the Nigerian system to protect their assets
