Since iOS 14, iPhone s can pause and resume video recording in the Camera app. Here's how:

1.⁠ ⁠Open the Camera app and switch to Video mode.
2.⁠ ⁠Start recording a video by tapping the red record button.
3.⁠ ⁠To pause the video, tap the red record button again. You'll see a pause icon (two parallel lines) on the button.
4.⁠ ⁠To resume recording, tap the red record button again. The pause icon will change to a play icon (a triangle).

Note that this feature is only available on iPhone 6s and later models running iOS 14 or later. Additionally, paused videos will be saved as a single file, and you can edit them in the Photos app or other video editing apps.
