I have been a nairalander for years now with another but I created this one for the purpose

I am 41 without any accomplishment. Single and broke.

I have a low self esteem that I am always afraid of the unknown. I have been fighting this for years but to no avail

My friends I started with in the industry are doing very well but I am still at the bottom.

I missed so many opportunities because I was thinking I could not handle it.

Even though my friends believe in me but fear always ruin it for me.

I hardly apply for jobs and get interviews because of fear of failure.

I have worked hard, learnt so many things and master of none.

My industry is now saturated and to get a job now is very much harder.

And if I want to get another job I will be starting out afresh and companies are looking for experienced people.

The knowledge I have is already phasing out.

I am full of regrets and confused. I feel I have wasted my life.

Can I still make at this age? How do I remove this low self esteem? I am getting depressed as everyday es by.

I am currently working in a startup

lol BRO, your best life starts the day you stop REGRETTING.

See, you can learn DIGITAL SKILLS.... and WORK REMOTELY.

YOU ALSO NEED TO GO OUT AND SEVERAL COMMUNITIES, WHERE YOU CAN MAKE NEW FRIENDS, HAVE A LIFESTYLE CHANGE and you will begin to see changes.

You also need a MENTOR to hold your hand and show you the ropes till you succeed.

I wish you well,
see you at the top

Find a business organization to serve. I. e serve for six months from the seventh month earn 80-120k per month. We have many of these jobs in the agricultural sector. You grow the business together the first seven months and from the seventh month, you'd begin to enjoy the reward of your contribution

Why can't you look for job to raise small funds so that you can start life afresh let me just tell you the truth forget age now , if you are considering your age you will keep on getting depressed

What you need is job, start a fresh if not because of situation of Nigeria that everything is costly at least if still get 80k job monthly you can save and feed from it

Lastly don't compare yourself with your peer, my mum do tell me that "Ba ti waye pe aori lari"

You will surely make it in Jesus name

You can't do POS without some level of cash na. One would need around 200,000 Naira to do well. But with location, one can begin

Don't discourage people. Three are people who have started POS business with 50,000 Naira. It boils down to skill. Along the line he can connect to people who will give him . POS is the easiest way young ones make it here in Oyo State.

all you people who value your life upon the achievements of others can never succeed in life, because you fail to understand that there will always be someone out there who has a better life than you... and equally fail to see the ones who have a life way worse than yours.
