Late Mogul and winner of the annulled 1993 Presidential election; Late Alhaji Chief MKO Abiola did many things right and one of those things was that he had a valid will before he died, the will which is a public document, clearly highlights his beneficiaries and the conditions for anyone unknown at that time to qualify as a beneficiary; this was clearly documented with provisions made regarding cash and property.

The said will recognized at least four of his wives and their children as qualified children upon conduction of paternity tests; this brings us to the question, since the will recognizes the children of the other wives of Late Alhaji Chief MKO Abiola, thereby making provisions for them, why then has the duo of Kola and Wuraola Zulikat Abiola with smooth engineering, disinherited the other qualified children? The answer is simple Greed. The documents below shows that Kola Abiola and his direct siblings are not the only heirs of the MKO Abiola Estate neither were they listed as s.

On the heels of the recent petition and disclaimer by the other heirs and s of the Abiola Estate, a deep dive into the actions and accusations against the duo have revealed quite a number of things, chief among these is the brazen conversion of properties belonging to the Abiola Estate into theirs and their direct siblings’, self-appointment as Trustees and Directors in the companies, conducting of business transactions without the knowledge and approval of the other heirs without remittance, and their continued sale of properties belonging to the Abiola Estate. Kola Abiola and Wuraola Zulikat Abiola; being 2 of the children of the Late Mogul’s first wife seem to think that by virtue of birth, they have more rights than the others and in absolute disregard for the law, and the provision of the Late Mogul’s will have embarked on a planned diversion of assets which has spanned over a decade.

One of the cases in dispute – it was discovered that, Kola and 2 of his siblings had themselves listed as “Directors, shareholders, and persons with significant control” of Radio Communications Nigeria Limited; A company which belonged to the Late Alhaji Chief MKO Abiola, with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) thereby taking over the shares of the company – this was done first in 2003, and 2019.

After several years in court, this case is still in the Federal court of Appeals. Since they are not duly recognized as Trustees or s in Late Alhaji Chief MKO Abiola’s will (which is a public document), how then were they able to do this? Does this not lend credence to the accusations of the other heirs that they have been fraudulently misrepresenting themselves as trustees and Directors of the Abiola Estate– does this not even buttress the accusation by their siblings that Wuraola Zulikat Abiola committed perjury by going as far as g an Affidavit claiming she was a trustee of Abiola Bookshops to get the Deed of Title for one of the properties they have sold?

More importantly, does this not prove that they fraudulently appointed themselves as Directors of Summit Oil Company Limited as accused by the other heirs?

A further dive has shown them to be in several property disputes with their other siblings more importantly, with other entities also – this proves that fraud for this duo is innate and they are brazen about perpetuating these acts – recently it was reported that they had an ongoing dispute over the sale of a property located at Isolo for which they have been paid a purported sum of about 7 billion naira from a total of 12 billion naira, they have also been in dispute with another family over a property which they are in the process of selling to Starlink.

They were also linked to a major incident that occurred in Ayobo where they sold over 400 acres of land to residents – a place presently occupied by about 5 CDAs; an attempt by the other heirs to reclaim the property and get the residents to ratify the sale led to stiff opposition almost becoming a national incident – this goes to show the extent they’d go to in order to line their pockets. Note that for all these transactions, the other heirs have announced that they were not carried along and do not know about these dealings. In fact, they have claimed that the duo have presented at least one of the businesses to be non-functional until news came to light that while fraudulently misrepresenting the Estate of the Late Chief MKO Abiola, the said defunct business had business transactions worth over 50 million dollars in paid amounts.

In their recent business dealings with Dr Akintoye Akindele, it was published the extent they went to tarnish the image of the industrialist who owns an Energy Park which boasts of a 2500bpd modular refinery among several other processing plants in the Energy Park. In a bid to discredit Dr Akintoye Akindele as the CEO of the company, they submitted overtrumped charges against him in order to get an order to detain him from the courts; an order which was overturned by the court on the grounds that it was a civil issue which they misrepresented as a criminal issue.

It has been postured that they did this in collusion with some other people in a bid to take over the company by hostile measures as a conviction would have enforced a step down. Reports showed that they had business transactions with the Dr Akintoye Akindele owned Duport Midstream Limited with each of the companies they represent owing themselves some money in ongoing business; rather than pursue the path of civil business operations, they resorted to strong-arm tactics. This further proves that they have an history of fraudulent misrepresentation.

It has been postured that a deeper investigation into other businesses owned by the Abiola Estate may reveal that the duo of Kola Abiola and Wuraola Zulikat Abiola with their other direct siblings may have by subterfuge, presented themselves as Directors or Trustees across all these other companies thus strengthening their hold over their Late father’s Estate and successfully cutting off the other heirs from their rightful inheritance.

It’s evident that the actions of Kola Abiola and Wuraola Abiola with the of their direct siblings is a long game that has been planned and executed over a long time, it was premeditated and carried out with surgical precision – this is made evident by their going as far as listing themselves as Directors of some of the companies owned by the Abiola Estate. It is noticeable that the companies which they are accused of misrepresenting themselves as Directors/Trustees of, have them and their siblings and none of the children of the other wives nor other heirs listed – this shows a systematic manipulation of facts and possible fraudulent change of control to their names.

In a good country, no one – I repeat no one would do business with this duo, in a country where laws are upheld and there are no sacred cows, the state apparatuses would have stepped in and gotten to the bottom of this, maybe it is actually right that they have the of some state actors and that is why they can act with such impudence. These accusations alone are worth investigating – after all, they are not being accused by the public, they are being accused by their kith and kin, kith and kin who have expressed displeasure that their petition is not receiving the required attention from the Police.

These recent reports are grounds for the EFCC and NFIU to investigate them, grounds for NNPC Limited to look into the business transactions of SUMMIT Oil under this duo and ascertain if their business practices are above and beyond reproach, for FIRS to look into the tax situation of the company – if they claim to the MKO Abiola Estate that it has been non-functional and it has been proven otherwise, have they been paying the required taxes – before the case broke open? It is grounds for SUNTERA and other business entities to hold off doing business with them or purchasing properties from them until these matters are resolved else they will be complicit in a case of massive fraud.

It is high time the right authorities step in and check this duo who apart from being accused of fraud among other issues of falsifying records are bent on tarnishing the Country’s image in the international community as evidenced by going into business with SUNTERA under false misrepresentation of SUMMIT OIL unless they are truly “sacred cows with friends in high places”.

From this, it is clear that

This what his brother said about him

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzFqeyuZM_0?si=tpa6lc-ActTe4QNY

Kola and Wura are not the only qualified heirs of Abiola's Estate and they are just taking advantage of them being the children of the first wife to sit on the inheritance of the others and also appointed themselves as the Directors and shareholders Summit oil and other companies while also selling the other properties

This isn't fair and also borderline criminal. It is a matter the EFCC, IC and NFIU to take up so justice can be served

Abiola was flamboyant not rich. You can lick N1 ice cream if you don't agree.

Crying over another man's wealth like he's your father.

@Op I don't really understand the issue here.

From the excerpt of the will you shared, the executor of the will and Abiola's appointed Trustee is NATIONAL WESTMINISTER BANK PLC, UK.

Shouldn't you be asking them why and how Kola & Wuraola became s of the will? I believe the family should be asking the will executors the right questions and not Nigerian authorities.

How is this EFCC, NFIU or Nigerian Police headache?

Except of course if Abiola has two different wills; one that is for his assets abroad and the other for his assets in Nigeria.

Then it means the other children are not ready to fight for what they think is theirs.

If u have a will that says NATIONAL WESTMINISTER BANK PLC, UK is the executor of the will and u are a listed beneficiary, is it not common sense to approach the bank for ur share of the estate?

Have the other children approached the bank and they were refused their share?

If u are bringing such family issues to the public, then u should be ready to answer logical questions so people can really understand what exactly the issue is. No be everything be emotions.

you and whoever sent you the errand are not serious. Just look at the long epistle you posted that can be quickly settled with a couple of millions paid to some SANs. What do they want Nigerians to do now ? Will they give acquired sympathisers a part of the wealth when the case is settled ?

I didn't water down anything. While Abiola was popular, the richest man in Nigeria was from my village. Abiola lived like he was loaded like that guy unless this will is fake and the vast majority of his fortune not covered.

Well said bro, please who's the richest man in Nigeria thats from your Village?

That's what some of them keep claiming o while also claiming that Igbos are greedy this and that...

Just for a second imagine if this thing happening here was an Igbo man and Igbo family, the kind of flood of insult and abuse that would have been on this page and on other social media about Igbos from these people, I know some of them are good but you see the tribalist among them are very irrational in their reasoning

Polygamy is such a mess, yuck. See the trouble that one man left behind which has been plaguing his family for years after his death. Just because he could not control his libido.

Chief F.R.A Williams (SAN) was a monogamous man who had 4 children from the same woman; his children are still in court till date fighting each other over the assets he left behind .

Guess what ? The man was a SAN, two of the four children are SANs as well.

Be it polygamy or monogamy , when u leave behind enough assets and children who are not united in love , they will always fight each other for the assets

Why is his estate so small? Nobody received £1m inside self. Everybody with their time, Dangote is currently in his season.

Before Abiola death he wrote a will and part of the condition of the will is that DNA test most be conducted on some of his children, after the DNA test it was discovered that most of the children presented to him by his wives are not his actual children. I believe those children making this noise are those that are not Abiola real children.
