Hello Everyone, what's the advised frequency to send webforms. I submitted my husbands SOWP back I'm June and it's almost getting past the processing time. We had a medicals update on August 6th but nothing since then. Should I be sending this webform message everyday?

My wife has finished her program and will be applying for PGWP.
our 2 kids have been with her in Canada and they have Visitors record,while I only have Visitors visa which I go and stay with them once a while and each time I go I stay 6 months.

My question now is, as she is applying for her 3 year PGWP, can I apply along for SOWP for myself and study permit for the two kids(3 & 5) respectively??

We have a total of $150k CAD which is in 3 different s, 2(1 Canada and 1 Nigeria) of the s in her name and one in my name in Nigeria.

I think you should wait till your Study permit application is approved before submitting SOWP application for your spouse

You can still apply but they might not be processed at the same time.

Check the IRCC website to know what amount is applicable.

Visa to Canada for immigrants is a privilege and not a right. Know this and know peace so you can manage your expectations.

I advise you increase her biz profile in Nigeria and do a lot of transactions to her.

Let the 20m be in her while the 17k CAD in your and get like 5k CAD deposit payment on your school fees and try again.

Better still wait for d gcms note.

I want to assume you are either on a professional degree or Masters that can offer SOWP for your partner.

You need to understand the progression of Canada status.

The fact you had a break and worked full time doesn't give you a Full time worker status. You re still a student with restricted work hours which was only removed during break.

Hence, you can't use that student work status as a full time offer to sponsor your spouse for SOWP. you re still on study permit and your motive for applying for study permit is first for your study and not work.

You can only transit to full time work upon graduation and PGWP issuance.

So try push the naira to your wife's while u retain d CAD, then pay deposit of your school fees from another source and then reapply.

You can transfer 5m in the first month with a narrative of project from your to your spouse. Then subsequently 300k, 200k, 500k and like that from same 1st month to the fourth month. Make sure she also spends from the like her normal home keep expenses. So it means d 20m should be spread to her within 4 months period to make them feel she's financially stable.

I dont know the christianity sermon we hear in Nigeria or Africa. If people become successful by what they proclaim you would have been Dangote by confession.

Wether you like it or not , you must add quality work to your grace/faith else it will be faith without work which is DEAD. You think I am not spiritually inclined? All the best to you but hope you put the best foot in your application process because those elements are critical in the decision of your application by IRCC and not just confesssion/what you desire. I wish you well, I am not negative I am only telling you the realities of life/spirituality and you should adjust your expectations by having backups. Not everyone that work hard will get Canada visa especially these times.

I had your mentality before the MP told me to see visa approval like someone welcoming you to his house, you dont use your confession or rule to enter. You have to abide by the rule of your invitee and beside sometimes you can fulfil the rule and he will still say dont come. I adjusted since and I am better. Lets not make our country situation make it look like it must happen, it is not our heritage in Christ.

My partner will be ing me after I get my study permit at the port of entry, and we only have the Islamic certificate of marriage. Will this do or do we have to have a civil marriage certificate?

Civil certificate is what is recognized by Nigerian law.

Then the spouse applying for SOWP must also be in TEER 0 or 1 (Management or Professional) classification of employment or any employment in labour shortage. Canada don vex oh. This regime is trying too much to favour her citizens because of elections.

Section 216 of the IRPA that establishes international student program wants those coming to Canada to be bonafide students.
