Hello everyone. What's the current price of ing your marriage in Nigeria? I'm about to my marriage and I've gotten 2 s of people who work at the Ikoyi Registry. One said it's 50k and the other said 52k. On the website, the fee is 27k for ordinary marriages which I want to do. But they're telling me the official fee is 40k and the additional 10/12k is for helping me with the processing. I don't know how true what they are saying so I just want to be sure I'm not overspending. Will appreciate your input if you have an idea about it. Thanks. |

A court charged me almost 4k for a document but the payment receipt bears only 300 (three hundred) Naira. Business centres charge people up to or more than 10k for NIN. But my brother had a quarrel with one centre. The escalation of the quarrel made him to be informed that the federal government pays those businesses centres for each NIN enrolment done in those centres. I don't know if the government truly pays them. But if it is true, why do they extort money from people that go for the enrolment? |

If you are in Lagos, I will advise you go through the process yourself...Pay online.. the required documents and go with your partner to the registry for the oath taking.

I paid N6000 for an Attestation from a Chief Magistrate Court. But when the Docs came back, I got an official receipt of N150 only. Even in the Courts, it's done. |

The status most people have given Ikoyi registry created room for corruption. It can be done in other LGA in all 36 states. 3 Likes |
