I think Napoli did not want to sell him this year. Maybe in January if he's not playing well, or next transfer seeason after he must have scored more goals. Its obvious they were dillydallying. Why? Napoli basically chose Osimhens agent for him when he was moving to Italy from . They somehow managed to get him to sign a new contract that elongated his stay at Napoli some months back, thereby leaving his future almost entirely in the hands of the grumpy Napoli cheif. I don't think Chelsea made any exploitative attempt to secure Osimhen's signature. Other big clubs were in the race for him including Al Ahli with their juicy offer. It was simply business for Chelsea and all parties involved. Osimhen knows that. You are talking transfer fee and buying players as if you are buying pepper in the market.

If he attempt to pay the 5Naira balance himself, then the seller will sense desperation and that will further lower his wages.
