How long did it take you to save the 12m?

2.
How long has your marriage lasted?

3.
What is your wife's skill or profession?

4.
Do you plan to them abroad in future?

Canada might be a good option tru education since jobs are hard to come by from overseas.....with 10million you can cover a good %age of tuition fees...while u run the proof of funds in street paroles....

But....Exchange rate will make your move a bit tough....especially becos u want send a woman with a 16months old baby to a new territory..

It would have been better if you are the one going alone for now.
..as a man u go fit rugged find work, dey go school at the same time..so that in a few months u can be using dollars to pay rent and rugged the remaining tuition fees, instead of sending naira abroad

Don't get me wrong ..im not saying it's totally impossible with your wife going...but you go feel the heat man....because your wife, if she's not street baptized, she won't be able to work with a 16month old baby in her care through out her 2 years programme....

Trust me ..u don't want to be paying abroad rent, upkeep money and still be paying for child minder or day care from Nigeria with tinubu's exchange rate....

Baba..if u are making good money ..stay in Nigeria and build your life and business...1500$ per month u claim u can send to your family is well over 2Million....thats not a bad nigerian salary even in tinubu era ......

Or take the other option I suggest by going first....

Anyways....U go dey alright shaaa!!!

Since you can't answer the first question, I won't be among those advising you.

A sincere patient does not hide symptoms. A sincere physician identifies all noticeable symptoms before prescribing drugs.

Okay, I saved that amount in about 9 months with strong will.

I suggest that you spend about three or four years to make more money and acquire landed property in Nigeria before sending your family abroad. This is to save you and your family from begging if things don't work out quickly for your family abroad. Be well-prepared before you take an action. Since you could save up to 12m. within a year, you can do much better within three or four years.

Believe me or not but you are about to start something you can’t finish.

That 12M or 14M you have will not last more a year or less in any developed country. Nanny alone will take that money within the first 3months or less. You will put your marriage and family life in danger.

Let me be blunt here… you can not afford this.

I get where you’re coming from, man. If you're looking to relocate your fam with that budget, you might wanna consider places like Canada or Portugal. Both have decent options for families, and the education/healthcare is solid. For Canada, you can look into the express entry programs or even student visas for your wife—it’s a legit route and easier to get residency later on. Portugal’s golden visa could be a move too, but it might stretch your budget a bit. Either way, make sure you’re up on all the paperwork and legal stuff. And yeah, sending $1500 monthly should be cool for them to live comfortably, especially in Europe.

Language might be a barrier for Portugal. Can you tell me more about Portugal?

Yes I saw that but my statement stands.

You should have planned childbirth in a country that can give your child a port and you permanent residency. 12 million isn't even up to 10000 usd now and by the end of the year it might not be up to 8000 usd.

It won't be enough, it would barely cover rent in Canada.or most countries

Your wife can not work or study with a 16month old baby in any developed country.

Even if she has a paid nanny or childcare. For a baby it is limited 9-1pm. Nothing like 8hours whilst she's in school or working. . That 8 hours will cost you more than more 1500usd. And your baby will the worse for it.

Don't make decisions from the place of fear,
Your wife and baby are your dependents, don't leave at the mercy of a countries you do not know and have not experienced. They are vulnerable very vulnerable

If your goal is residency for all of you then you can not avoid spending the time to RESEARCH.
Not YouTube and viral SM but actual research to identify a relocation path that you can afford and sustain.

If you can not make the time to do this research then what ever you see you collect.

This, plan with second baby in countries that provide citizenship by birth and grant residency to parents.

Why do you want to relocate a child who is not up to two years old and a nursing mother to the abroad to live alone? It is funny how you want to move them abroad, but you have not decided which country to go to.

He is either unserious or ignorant. I am sure his wife is behind the decision. On Facebook, one is forcing her husband who earns 35 million naira per annum to japa. As the man no gree, she becomes angry.

Good luck to Nigerian men who allow their wives to think for them. The Lord is their strength.

you wife can’t work with a young child. She will need nanny or day care which will chop 600 to 1k of the money. Rent and feeding for a room (not a full house o) over 1k don waka. This is the worst time to japa. No country is currently easy to japa to as getting papers after studying is very hard these days. What does your wife do for work

In my opinion She will have to leave the child behind to be able to cope
