My 11t pro battery life is excellent. I guess your phone first had over used the follow come 120 watts charger for the phone, hence the decline battery health.

Generally, the design of the phone produce heat but also depend on the task you're running on the phone and the environment temperature. On an average use, mine doesn't heat up oooo.
