I recently just bumped into these old phones we used back early 20's

Nokia 2700 to be precise, I just wanted to see how the old apps still functions, but I go to notice that the web browser is working but apps like opera mini and Facebook won't connect to the Internet.


Any ideas?

13k then should be about 100 dollars. using today's rate, that is roughly 160k now.

I have been trying to get one for years.

Facebook and Opera mini have long deprecated services and for old devices and operating systems. That phone may not the API connections, encryption protocols and SSL certificates that modern day apps need to work effectively.

Same reason why Chrome will not work on Windows 7 or WhatsApp on older generation OSes.

If am out of data, and I need to access nairaland, I use operamini handler for android to access this site for free..

Try ing opera for mobile, it looks like the opera app u are using is outdated
