Sheikh Yakubu Musa, the Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’kamatus Sunnah in Katsina, has called on youths in the state to avoid participating in the planned nationwide protest against economic hardship.

Addressing the Muslim faithful after Friday prayers at Al-Sanawiyya Mosque in Katsina, he stated that protests are against Islamic teachings.

Sheikh Musa, however, acknowledged the economic hardships but argued that protests would not resolve the issues and might worsen the situation.

He mentioned that the government has been informed about the economic hardships citizens face and urged authorities to take measures to alleviate the situation.

His words: “Instead of getting out of that hardship, we may end up jumping into a bigger one. Like here in Katsina, we are also disturbed by insecurity.

“We should shun the planned protest. We should not be part of it. Our youths should also shun from being part of it.

“Because it could destroy the nation, we have seen what happened in some countries where as a result of protest, the countries had been thrown into war and total destruction.’’

Regarding the Samoa agreement, Sheikh Musa clarified that representatives from various Islamic sects had discussed the matter with federal government representatives.

He stated that the government officials assured them that LGBTQ issues were not included in the agreement.

No religious leader should interfere into the state of the nation matter.
Majority of them are speaking base on selfish interest.
Is the hardship meant for a particular religion or tribe? Why do the socio ethnic groups and religious leaders like to play cards of ethnicity and religion?
We are wiser now

See what I wrote the other day?
The north doesn't protest for bad governance unless a Christian is president.

They're only wired to protest if it's about Islam.

The government have activated their Islamic clerics to start telling them that protest is Haram again because it's a Muslim who's president.

Religion nonsense should actually be touched...

They are doing this country bad...

Clerics ( Christians and Muslims)- practically worshipped thieves and politicians in this country, while brainwashing the masses..

They are one of the problems of this Country

I am loving this. Finally APC is channelling their efforts towards the real source of the protest and not political adversary. Let's see how far Tinubu can reach out to the brainwashers to help quell their followers' anger.
Recall they once stoned Buhari even though he did a lot for them.

But fulani terrorists, bandits, raping, kidnapping, poverty. This is just like the ruling u see on Friday front page.

They give u many rulings at first, which many would make sense or be somewhat reasonable for you to believe in the authenticity of the religion. Then crafting, rulings like this one are occasionally slipped in and mixed with the other believable ones.

The endpoint is that you are under control but in your warped mind, you are under salvation. I keep telling people that these foreign religions are purely for expansionism and toil for political control.

If u fail to see d bigger picture, u end up as a pawn on the table of the wiser and more organized higher-ups, which unfortunately, many of u are.

So the Arab Spring protests that rocked North Africa and led to the removal of several dictators like Gaddafi and Mubarak were unislamic?

Meanwhile nobody said anything like this when TEEFnubu was leading protests against GEJ...🤔
