Good morning everyone. I applied for port January. Did everything. I checked online today,it’s showing PORT PENDING PRODUCTION since march. What could be the cause? Because other people who did theirs same day have been told to come and collect their port.

I believe your port is ready. Mine was also showing pending production but I went to pick it up on my collection date. I discovered the port was produced on April 10 but picked it up on June 5.

I captured at Alausa on March 6.

I received a call yesterday from the agent that they queried it because she was once issued port hence she should not have applied for fresh port but re-issue. The agent said , we need to start all over again that they have cancelled the application that i need to pay another money.

The name on her old port is different from the name on the NIN which she used to do her new application.

Can someone please advice me on what to do .

Does she still have the old port.if yes, let her do nin name change,court affidavit and npc before applying for port renewal.

Enugu State Liaison Office in Lagos is located on the Island:
45, Lasode Crescent, Maroko.

Go there with a valid ID. I heard that the certificate of origin does cost between ₦1000 and ₦3000.

I would advise you to to go to your state (Enugu) liaison office on the Island. You will not spend up to ₦10,000.

I did renewal online for elderly relative, I was still asked to book appointment, so I did.
Payment made, I have acknowledgement slip and payment receipt

But when I went back to site to Track status, I got the message that Application ID and Reference ID not found


I am confused, should I wait a few more days
Should I tell him to go on the day of the appointment? I am not sure what the appointment is for since we a photograph, and this is a renewal

bross I didn't do mine in the East but let me just give advice as you cannot change your collection center....just stand your ground dnt panic or shake..those people sef dey fear nothing go happen only if you dey rush dey will extort you.

Please I want to renew my port this is the birth certificate that I have

can i use it. I don't have the one issue by the Nigerian population commission because in was born in 1985.

I am in the right direction.
